Do not seek companionship and validation from your work or people at your workplace. You need to get that from your own social circles.

I get it from my social circles, but it's a subjective validation. They know me well and they love me. Also, they are my age, not older

I see your point but work environments can be notoriously toxic. To some degree it is to be expected that they will neither respect nor listen to you for how terrible as that sounds. Work is a transactional relationship, they pay you and you provide work for them. Good workplaces never have this issue, most workplaces do. It is a sad state of reality that most workplaces are ran by people who do not understand how to do their jobs and by extension creates these bad interactions.
