If you delete social media because you are jealous of how you see other people live their lives yet you claim to not care what other people think, you are contradicting yourself. If someone you are jealous of on social media contacts you and puts you down most likely you would get hurt since you are jealous of their lives. Therefore you care what other people think.

Social media is designed to make you jealous of someone else’s life, designed to make you compare and compete for attention. It boosts the numbers of the algorithm which makes it that much easier for companies like Meta and Tiktok to sell you stuff and also gives them more data to give to advertisers to directly target you. It’s all about money for them, they don’t care how toxic it is if it makes them millions of dollars a day. Recognizing that pattern and then choosing to remove yourself entirely is, in my opinion, a very wise decision. You can’t get upset at something that’s not there for you to see. Out of sight, out of mind, so to speak. And it’s a nice kinda middle finger of self-satisfaction to those parasitic corporations.

You didn't read my details or don't understand? I said for people to claim to you that they don't care what other people think yet get jealous of what is on social media are contradicting themselves. Agree? Cause if you are jealous than if any of those people contacted you and told you certain things you would get hurt. Also if you didn't care what other people think than you won't get jealous of other people.
