TURNING POINT USA 🇺🇸
I've actually been to a Turning Point USA event, but never the Young Women's Leadership Summit. They are pretty conservative, but OMG, they really do focus on being a strong, assertive women! From what I know about this summit they really focus on women not taking shit at home, school, or work, not accepting a husband who runs rough shot all over us (basically he's an asshole to us, and treats us badly), they also focus on how it's not a bad thing to be a mother who stays home w/ her children if that's what you want, but if you do want to work, they teach you how to succeed w/o loosing that which makes you a woman. (in other words, you don’t have to act like you're a man to succeed in life or business!) Things like how to negotiate a better contract, and being more assertive w/o coming off like a b! tch to everyone who works under you. They will (if it is like the one I went to) have LOTS of classes that you can opt to take, but you don’t have to. There will be some religious classes, but again, you do not have to take them, I didn’t.
They just focus on how to be the best woman you can be, no matter what YOU decide to do, and they help you to be more assertive, while not sacrificing your femininity to attain assertiveness, that sort of thing. I didn’t really like the fact that some of it was from a conservative POV, but... I did get a hell of a lot out of it, regardless of their political leanings. (mostly b/c I fckn' hate politics, period!). But it was WELL worth the money, I learned a lot !
The one I went to was called something like "The College Leadership Conference", or something similar to that, so it was aimed at college students. But I will say this, if this Woman's Leadership Summit was within a 2hr drive of me, I would definitely go. Because in spite of all the conservative stuff, I really did get a lot out of it, and that one was co-ed. One just focused on women's needs... Yeah, it's probably worth it to go, if you can. Also, if they offer a VIP package, take that! There was an open bar, I could snack on appetizers all day, and I got to hang out with the media, and the speakers before and after they spoke. Also, both days I had lunch with a several celebrities. So, it's definitely worth the extra money!
I really hope this helps, Jenn.

@CrazyGirl2
Thanks Laura 🥰
If you go, tell me about it
Oh, I won’t be going, sweetie! It's almost 1000 miles from me. If it were closer, like 100 miles, I would definitely go. but again, too much travel. But i'm sure you'd enjoy it!
This is going to trigger the fuck out of some men lol.
@mandyfire98 do you like it?
The general idea of women being in leadership? Yeah I think it's great that both men and women lead at things.
I don't know exactly what this particular group itself is leading but I'm just talking about the general idea.
@mandyfire98 that is what I’m talking about Sister 💕💯
Far right wing movements
Oh it's a far right wing movement?
Any man that has a problem with women in leadership positions has some serious issues lol
I just find it ironic if it's a far right wing organization. Usually far right people don't want women in leadership but want more traditional stay at home wives or mothers.
@mandyfire98
It’s Turning Point USA
I'm just saying that most conservatives push for women to be more traditional and more of support for the husband first and even usually push for more stay at home type arrangements. It's a very common viewpoint in the conservative community. It's well known.
@mandyfire98 I have to agree with you
@jennz6 "@Mandyfire98 Won't trigger me ladies... I like and respect strong leadership type women... What's not to like in a strong, competent, woman in a leadership position?
What I resent, and have in the past, was my Police Academy class lowering the physical standards for women recruits...then AGAIN I saw some of the candy ass men fall flat on their face during the trials we had to complete to even get in.
You won't hear me mouth off about strong women.
I have not heard about it, but some young women obviously need leadership!
@olderandwiser 😴
As do MOST young men !!!

Before you make an opinion on this.
No, but turning point is a far right think tank trying to bring christian nationalism to the US.
We have similar over here, strangely last one was also sponsored by US embassy
For me there is no problem, women can also be good leaders;
Never heard of it but there is no reason why women can't be strong leaders.
I've heard of it. Couldn't care less. If some people find it inspirational go for it. Strong female leaders are good.
I have never heard of it. I have no problem with women being leaders as long as they are able to do the job. More power to them
Riley Gaines herself will tell you that being a wife and mother is her most important job.
What is a more leadership role than a stay at home mom that raises your family and runs your household and life? You poor brainwashed libral
Never heard of it , I guess if more women knew about it, then they would have more members
Someone is stuck in 1924. (Do those chicks have big boobs?)
Nope. Absolutely nobody in the world knows about it. Not even the people in the pictures.
Seems like virtue signalling bullshit.
