Taxes should not be based on someone's gender. I, as a woman, have worked very hard for the money I've earned. I've never asked a man to support me, even in a relationship. I have tried to plan ahead enough to set aside that if I were to marry, and ended up divorced, that I wouldn't need his money (I can't have kids, so there'd be no need for child support either). So why should I have to pay higher taxes than a man?
