WWI, only because I liked the airplanes.
I love the movies Wings, The Dawn Patrol, and Hell's Angels.
I liked Snoopy and the Red Baron.
My dad took me to air shows that featured a wide variety of WWI reproduction aircraft to look at up close and see flying. He also belonged to a WWI aero-historian club that met at the Hollywood Palladium once a month and took me with him when I was a kid.
I've seen many in air museums, too.
I used to build plastic model airplanes.
I fantasized about doing dogfight aerobatics.
A few years ago for my birthday, my wife surprised me with a ride in an open cockpit, bi-wing airplane and the pilot did aerobatics for me. Rolls, barrel roles, hammerhead stalls, Cuban eights. Way better than a roller coaster.
That was a lifetime bucket list item.
good question for d day date!
my favorite for reading about is the navy war in pacific world war 2. those powerful huge warships and planes!

The Vietnam War. It was a period of turmoil in America but there was a big change in attitudes about the government and life in America. The Vietnam War caused most of it.
When I talked to veterans of WWII they didn't feel that way.
I'd say the war of the worlds.
Robot wars
by the way, there is no actual good war, people die, suffer horrendous injuries and kids lose parents.
The Civil War. It is the only war where Americans finally treated the far right the way they ought to be treated. WWII was a close second for the same reason, but "log before the splinter"..
but pro slavery was democrats and since when is war "the way" to treat anyone?
. seems like you promoted violence.
Democrats were the far right party back then. War is the correct way to treat violent far right entities. Or are you disparaging our Union soldiers?
You have your history confused. The “Far right” then was studs like Cassius Clay, Gen. William T. Sherman, and even
Ulysses S Grant. The “left” (AKA, Southern Democrats) were the slave owners of that time
No, sorry. The far right was and still is the people who flew the confederate flags and put up statues of confederate soldiers. It is good that you ragetards are at least ashamed of it enough to say it wasn't you, though. Progress!
Believe me. I’m no far right, so shoot
It’s easy and fun to swap away some truth and hide behind insults the reality is history can’t always be rewritten and repackaged to be politically expedient. If you expect the far right to repent their stupidity and sins then the left should too. Sadly, it seems you’re more interested in partisan politics than actual history…so, here we part. No point in wasting time pouring knowledge into an already full vessel.
I dont believe you. Sorry not sorry. How you ragetards reconcile "it was the DEMOCRATS who were the confederacy!" and "you can't take down those statues of confederate generals because of OUR heritage!" is beyond me.
The War of 1812, because we almost became British again, but the French saved us
