I don’t know. Mediterranean food seems so subjective. I have read people around that sea have a diet that is considered pretty healthy. Not sure if that’s because foods are easily traded across the seas, and Morocco and France this share some ingredients…

Southern French, yes. Southern French are closely related to Iberians as well.

People from northern or even central France certainly aren't Mediterranean.

Have you ever known a French person? They are French, that's it. Not European, not Mediterranean, not anything... but French.

If you as a French person, they will say, "We are French... Nous sommes Francais "

Not really. The ones on Corsica and the Mediterranean coast might be, but the rest, not so much. France is very multi-ethnic. You've got Germanics, Celtics, Basquonians, Catalans, Occitanians, etc...
