If you were thinking it's coed as just everyone gets naked in front of each other nah, but women and men do indeed both go in the same overall room rather needing two rooms for no reason.

Making it for everyone is better even if I find such people to be worrying for no reason.

For any other public setting it’s just not appropriate. It never will be as long as everything in our culture is sexualized and as you mentioned pervy men will always view women and girls as objects.

The objectification really only happens when guys put their basic biological impulse of sexual attraction above the feelings of the girls. Telling them to get over their insecurities while they're stared at by males in a locker room, is obviously an example of that. So, I can understand how what Kaneki is saying would be considered objectifying. Normal men have the decency to not impose into women's spaces though, which is the opposite of objectification.

You also have to think if everyone is using if one guy is going to start been creepy, everyone else in there is going to kick them out.

Personally I've known girls who've had no problem getting changed in front of guys, and naturally it made me think yeah what's the big deal really.
So it's just not something that makes me insecure and I think the way you become secure with it is by experiencing it as you come to realize it ain't a big deal.

Also you have to think in changing rooms people are gay. There is going to be a gay person at some point. And in school there was for sure a couple gay guys getting changed next to me, didn't make me uncomfortable at all yet they could of easily been having such thoughts a straight guy could be having towards a girl.
There is also gay girls who the girls had no problem changing in front.
So getting changed in front of opposite sex or trans or whatever really don't make me care one bit, longs if they aren't doing anything I couldn't care about what thoughts they have in their head.

Also maybe a news flash but not really if a guy finds you hot the thoughts in his head aren't going to change by you wearing clothes or not. So why you aren't already assuming that guy is thinking of you like that already is a mistake tbh.
