Yes, because trans women are still biological men.
No, and it's transphobic to deny them entry to women's bathroom

Ok here's my take and some people might hate it but it's mine. If you gender affirm enough and look the part, I'm not gonna pull down your pants to see if you've got a pussy or not. Whatever, I don't care. Afterall if a cisgender man just wanted to walk in, he would and he will.
But if you look like a man (obvious beard, male facial structure, etc.) and you're putting no effort into looking like the woman you feel that you are, I'm obviously gonna feel uncomfortable being in the bathroom at the same time as you.
Some trans people are born with ambiguous or feminine features and some are not as lucky, I'm aware of that and I hope they still feel comfortable in their own skin. But you need to go to a gender-neutral bathroom if you don't look like an obvious woman. I don't want to feel like the place I'm taking a shit is being taken over like every other place a cis woman owns.
But if we put cameras at doors with face recognition and the driver license database , then send fine punishment to violaters to enforce. people would obey.
@strateguy632 good idea
@strateguy632 I urrr
i totally 100% agree with you and im a CD who wants to graduate to TS status sometime!
There is a difference between bathrooms and locker rooms. I would prefer biological men not be changing in front of or seeing girls change in front of them.
They can call me whatever they like. I have my opinion and they have theirs

There's 4 possible alternatives to just letting everyone use the restroom like normal (as far as strictly binary gendering can be normal, anyways):
de-gendrify the toilet. it's that simple. but only single toilets or there will be peekers
@Sevenpointfive newsflash: there are already peekers. That is already a problem with stall restrooms.
is there proof? i'd like to peek at the peekers to make others aware. i haven't heard of this yet. since when?
because they are de-gendrified and can use the same ones
@verknallt option 3, the part in parentheses ().
@Sevenpointfive it is a common opinion that stalls are bad design and should be more secure and private. Ask literally anyone.
Most people have been peeked in on before, usually in schools by another kid, of their same sex and gender. Not a trans person. This happened to me as a kid as well as several people I know personally, but it is not "well documented" because nobody cares and it's just kids being kids. You're right that it is rare to happen with adults, but de-gendering restrooms would not make it any less rare. It is not a gendered issue, or it would be rare in gendered school restrooms too.
This. All restrooms should be gender neutral all in one bathrooms with toilet and sink floor to ceiling walls with no gap doors. It not only saves an enormous amount of space it feels so much safer.
now you want me to construct the restrooms? didn't they have a separate restroom where they also changed in some parts?
@Sevenpointfive no. There are changing rooms, if that's what you mean?
so put a toilet in them. doesn't that solve everything?
@Sevenpointfive what? Please explain, you have lost me.
see, you got the room that you change in. but you put a toilet in there if they need it. a dual purpose room that isn't a stall but perhaps similar in size? there's your answer. no more peeking. it's there for whoever wants to use them
@Sevenpointfive changing rooms are only in places like gyms and sports places and swimming pools, and they're usually even less private than stall restrooms are. Do you mean like the separate family/disabled restroom with the changing table in it for babies? Sorry I may have misunderstood, but I agree that making restrooms be more small private rooms rather than just a big room with little stalls would be helpful.
yes that is exactly what i mean. no one likes other people hearing the person shitting next door
I'm not a girl but I think this is the best way to look at this problem:
Are the bathrooms in your house gender based?
No? Of course they aren't, because they are self contained, no one can see you when you are in there even if they tried, and the door locks.
I'm fairly sure that most men and most women will have 1 of 2 views about this:
The nudist or voyeur opinion:
1. They are perfectly fine stripping naked/pooping/peeing in front of random strangers.
or the more common opinion:
2. They are like most people and think that the stalls in the bathrooms should just need door locks and no gaps to look under, around, or over, so that anyone, male or female, enterting the multistall bathroom, can't see you going to the bathroom in your stall anyway.
Why does this matter? Because most men and women don't even feel comfortable with the SAME sex seeing them go to the bathroom, and I think this issue gets largely ignored for some idiotic reason, because most heterosexual people find that even MORE uncomfortable than someone of the opposite sex peeking at them while they piss.
In gender neutral bathrooms, if a random woman peeks at me, its rude, but I'm probably not going to find it repulsive, at least not as much as if another guy was doing it, unless she's ugly.
Most women are going to be the same way about this. But again, nearly everyone is going to prefer complete privacy, so stop building bathrooms with urinals and peekable stalls and these conversations about what kind of person should be in what bathroom will be rendered moot.
I don’t care as long as they’re just in there to use the bathroom. I mean, why would it be any of my business what they do in there so long as they’re also minding their own business and not hurting anyone?
The risks that people see with transgender people using women’s or men’s bathrooms are there whether or not transgender people are allowed to use the bathroom that’s designated for one of the genders they identify with anyways. The risk of someone getting assaulted in a bathroom doesn’t just magically appear just because transgender people are allowed to use whichever bathroom they choose.
excellent answer
What would you think about the creation of a unisex bathroom to go along with the men and women.
I only bring this up because I have friend of a friend who works with someone who is Trans. She was transitioning to male and wanted to use the male locker room. The men did not want her to. So the management gave her her own locker room. She sued for discrimination and won.
@thatshydork I totally understand what your say but if I have a daughter I wouldn't want a grown man in that bathroom with herb
Her...
@Bklynbadboy12 but a. That risk is there either way and b. if they’re identifying as a girl, then they’re not a grown man anyways.
@ChiTown33 well that’s why a lot of places are having discussions about all-gender bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling stalls. My school has them I think they’re great. I feel a lot safer in them then I do in the women’s bathroom where anyone can climb under the locked stall door.
@thatshydork if they are floor to ceiling stalls, are there no horizontal metal bars above doors to grab onto and do pullups?
@thatshydork if the transition hasn’t been fully made then he is a man in girl’s clothing, no mater what he calls himself…
True
That risk isn't there if he isn't allowed in the bathroom with me standing at the door
Just let trans people have there own bathroom i don't care if there trans men or trans women give them one bathroom for both of them
@thatshydork where did you get the idea I supported male to female trans sharing bathrooms? I said unisex in addition like a 3rd option.
@Bklynbadboy12 did you read what I posted? They tried that. She sued for discrimination and won. This is why I said men's room, women's room and unisex room. I know it's kind of a waste of money. But if you're going to spend that money on lawsuits anyways then you might as well give a 3rd option.
@thatshydork Unisex restrooms with private stalls would make everything equal.
I don't care if this sounds transphobic, but I would definitely mind someone who was once a man (with or without their manparts intact) using a women's bathroom where my wife or daughter may be in/using. And, no I'm not saying this without reason, but I have witnessed, and seen and heard cases where men who identified as women and even trans women, would go into female spaces like this and then harass women and girls.
Just make gender-neutral bathrooms for said people and if they have a problem with that, then they can go take a dump outside for all I care.
Yes please do not! To many cases of rape... Them peaking... Stripping down... Taking advantage... Planting cameras...
Now my family and me all use our home bathroom nothing with an all bathroom especially college or a schools!
Also we do have pepper spray and a whistle! Not just for the bathroom.
Most trans are just drag girls especially adult and highschool and younger. It's guys on fake hormones your not women.
All gender restrooms are just pandering. It's a bathroom with pee on the seat... Cause guys can't be bothered to aim! 🤣
Biology isn't bigotry. Just because I believe in legal restrictions for the purpose of public safety doesn't mean I want all trans people to go away or think they're bad. I believe that people can do what they want with their lives and to their bodies even if I don't approve because it's not my life but I'm not going to ignore biology and science to make someone feel better because I hurt their feelings when I said they were different than normal woman on a biological level which is a hard and fast fact no matter how much you whine about it. This is why stuff like "No trans men in womans sports" was a winning issue for trump that was good press.
How many times per day do people pee/poop/change a tampon, etc? billions of times every day right? how many women get raped by trans women in public restrooms per day? are there really rapists out there who dress up as women to rape women in the public restrooms, but because trans women aren't allowed in the public restroom, decide to not rape anyone? And who is going to look up everyone's skirt to make sure the lunch lady isn't a biological male?
This is a non-issue. My guess is that you're a million times more likely to be killed by gun than raped in a public restroom by someone who would otherwise be deterred by bathroom bans for trans people.
This world is retarded especially in western countries. I grew up in 90s as a kid, we played board games, went to BlockBuster for Friday nights after school to rent a video game or watch TGIF on ABC, ride bikes out doors with friends, make snowmen, etc. Now young people today are soo confused with their gender and attach a kabillion ideologies and get triggered not using pronouns. Like F-sakes, my teachers got my name wrong for yearsssss and I never got triggered, sensitive a$$ generation today. There are two genders, male and female. The fact that we normalize naked and half naked adults dancing around kids during pride month and pride parades where its legit pedophilia its disgusting! The governments are broken, society is broken, school system is broken, police system is broken. I wish I could go back to 1989 or 1998.
i don't like the notion of an entire society has to ignore their needs and preferences just so a few sick people feel slightly better about themself alledgedly. in my view, making society fix your problems isn't the right way to go about fixing your problems. nothing wrong with getting help but at the end of the day, you're responsible for your issues, not everyone else.
yes i mind! and that doesn't mean i "hate trans people". biologically, you're still a male. like i get it, being dressed as a female in a male bathroom may end up in violence. but there can be times where a completely straight man can dress as a woman and just go into women's bathrooms and claim he's trans and just do... awful things.
Yes, I mind. It creeps me out. And if/when I have a daughter I do not want her having to deal with the same things.
Not really. Most women feel the same way I do, but they just don't want to admit it publicly because it politically incorrect.
I dont mind in school because its all people we know, we have i think a total of 6 trans kids in school and we are okay with it, but in public bathrooms its really creepy, at least was for me. I was in a public bathroom with like 3 of my girl friends and this guy who was like at least 60 with a crop top leggings and a super hairy body with a purple wig walks in and like the look he gave us we were legit shivering in fear so as soon as he went into one of the stalls we ran out.
Considering the fact that you’d probably have to “check under the hood” to determine whether a person is trans or not nowadays (unless they’re wearing a T-shirt that declares, “I’m trans, get over it.”), how tf would you tell?
Driver license
I couldn't care less. It is just a bathroom.
It provides perfect cover for a rapist. Any man caught using a woman's bathroom should be arrested.
I wouldn't mind if the stalls were fully sealed individual rooms with no openings or gaps and a way to lock it from the inside, no privacy violations, and no one trying to look underneath.
Problem solved.
Agreed.
idc that much
like they're probably scared of me more than anything bc they're used to being judged or harassed in some way
Trans people make up a very small percentage of the population, I don’t understand why we have to change to comfort them. If you’re a trans woman and pass well I dont think anyone would really care if you used the woman’s bathroom
You are not in the girl's club so get out. Ha Ha. That was a joke. I personally would like to see unisex restrooms similar to some in Europe. Changing in a locker room? No!!!
Getting naked. Most restrooms have stalls.
Not as much as stalls. I an for after the surgery then certainly.
Well those people who want to allow trane into women bathrooms don't separate between trans semi or fully transform.
So you could have someone sharing a bathroom with you who identifies as women become he's taking hormones blockers but his dick still goes up when he's horny.
And sure it could happen with normal men sneaking into women bathrooms but in many countries there are guards at public WCs and they don't let men enter women WC
That said, allowing trans entry into women WC increase the risk of sexual assault.
And as much as some people like to deny this, but there will be men who will take advantage of this.
Oh and if you allow it now for public WC, you don't have to wait too long before they will force you to share your locker room with men just because they told you they are women and you have to believe them.
@debbiedenise I agree that unisex restrooms with all private stalls would be the best. Unisex locker rooms could also be designed for adequate privacy.
@debbiedenise Cis women are able to enter and even use male restrooms and locker rooms without a problem. Why then can't men enter and use the women's facilities? I still favor unisex facilities with adequate privacy.
@debbiedenise What are the ones in Europe like?
I’ve only seen a man use the women’s bathroom once in my life , I locked myself in the stall and didn’t come out til he left , I don’t trust them.
I voted YES , but here seriously you can't trust any of them in toilets , they go to both..
I always say riskiest thing is an ugly Kattoy.
Respect my personal space and don't peep or creep on me and we're good
Women can be vulnerable to sexual assault when their guard is let down thinking only women is there. But about for the ones who abuse it.
Yes i mind.
Why would they use women’s restroom since they would never be a woman.
No I don't care. I'm not checking out peoples genitals when I'm going to the bathroom.
If they have a dick then I don't think they should be using it.
There is no real need for separate restrooms. All you need is one room with totally private stalls. Saves space, allows for more stalls, and results in equal wait times for all.
I have been in the men's restroom on occasion when a cis women has entered to use it. She has just gone to an available stall; used it, came out, washed her hands at the sink and left with no conflict. The only problem might be that the men's restrooms frequently have only one or two stalls.
It's a bathroom... There's nothing to see so don't care
Makes you wonder why they had separated rooms ever...
My college dorms had coed bathrooms, with the standard metal stalls. No one seemed to have a problem with it.
Might be a harder sell in the general public. But if it's a single-user bathroom they should all be mixed gender.
It doesn't bother me at all. Women's bathrooms consist of separate, individual stalls. I don't care about what genitals a person has.
women are their own worst enemies but feminists would have you believe it's men
I'm sure most actual women don't want transformers in their public bathroom.
Evet, JendinYes, I feel abused, biologically I am still male
I can see this being abused.
I have no problem with it since they are women.
Need a 3rd room for all trans, and a gaurd checking id papers at each. Solve unemployment!
I don’t know about that. I always look for a family bathrooms to go in but I get pretty happy when it’s a single bathroom made for both men and women a sense of relief
I'm trans, can a woman show me their vagina so I can know how it is before my operation?
Yes I mind why would I want a man in my restroom space?
they most likely will. they dont fear trans at all. now if it was a straight man then that will be a whole different story
They are definitely still men, and mentally ill. I pray they get some help.
I don't know the science too much but I don't like the idea of men going into a woman's bathroom. Also, why do we even need gender-neutral bathrooms? Why are we labeling everything?
Who cares? But im not a woman I am just a regular bi dude
Trans women, are women
I work with one. She uses the female bathroom. GET OVER IT
@Jania1809 Trans women are women
No. As long as I can pee in peace. I don't care.
I'm no female and I don't like it!
Those are men not women.
not all guys piss standing up just fyi
i have a good story about this. if you'd like to hear it.
I don’t like the idea.
no i dont really care
yes I do
men do not belong in womens bathrooms period
I don't
How should I know?
