 Struggling with Self-Control  Impatience has its roots in frustration. It's a feeling of rising stress that starts when you feel that your needs and wishes are being ignored. In a modern environment where we're accustomed to instant communication and immediate access to data, it's a growing problem.  What makes a person have patience? 
   
 Patient people are willing to wait for the things they desire, and they understand that good things come to those who are willing to be patient. They are able to control their emotions and impulses, and they are often seen as empathetic and understanding toward others.  What develops patience? 
   
 Practice mindfulness So the next time you notice yourself becoming impatient, acknowledge your experience and try to simply observe your emotions without judgment. 💙 Learning to be patient with others starts by being more patient with yourself and your own life.  Why am I lacking patience?

Yes and no.

I'll be super patient with something if I know the process involved. I'll get really into it and just follow the process, adding some creative things to the process along the way. The whole thing is enjoyable and engaging.

But if I spot things that indicate something (or someone) is a waste of my time and energy, then my patience is limited and my interaction with that person has a finite "kitchen timer" on it. Once the timer rings, it's time to move on.

I can get fired up pretty easily online lol. But other than that, in person it takes a whole lot for me to blow up. My friends have literally never seen me angry in person. In my relationships I've only gotten angry a few times.

My family gets under my skin more than anyone though. We don't agree on much and it's impossible to speak to them for even a little while without getting into some kind of disagreement.

Overall though, I'm gonna say yes.

I like to think so. I used to play in poker tournaments so you have to be patient to be successful. I don't know if I'm more patient or just really tenacious. I don't give up easily in pursuit of a goal.

Yes and no.
I am very patient when I have to teach someone something. Incredibly. I can attempt to do all the methods for them till they grasp it. I have no problem doing so for hours till they get it.

I am not patient when other people are being rude, arrogant, when they snitch, when their opinions lack common sense or when they have complete disregard of others, in fact it can turn me into my worst version. I can't be patient towards them, I just can't.

all right last one before I shut it down for a good...3 months. I was. :) I was 100% patient. Now... i'm 67% with certain conditions. If i want it, i'm gonna go get it. If i need it, don't feel safe, good, happy, fuck it, I'm gonna do what is necessary.

I think when it comes to others I'm very patient. But when it's about myself or things that don't directly relate to someone else's pace or skill, I get impatient very quickly.
