Are You A Patient Or An Impatient Person?

When I was younger I was a very impatient person.
But God blessed me with a son that has learning disabilities and because of him, I have been able to become very patient and I still am.

As a kid, I think that I was somewhat impatient.
Maybe not exactly impatient, but just in too big of a hurry to get things done.

I was always getting physically hurt by getting in too much of a hurry in doing things.
Having wrenches slip because I was in a hurry, ending up with me getting banged-up knuckles, was a very frequent occurrence for me.
As a young man, I recognized that in myself.
I had gotten tired of nursing my banged-up hands.
With a little bit of effort, I got out of being in such a hurry about things.

Otherwise, I think that I'm pretty patient.

Except for this, sort of ironically.
I can tend to not be very patient with people around me who are habitually impatient.
Go figure.
I'm working on that.
Lol.

I’d say I’m patient in things that matter and worth investing in, but I can be impatient with distractions, inefficiency, or situations that waste time.

Patience isn’t about waiting passively, it’s about being deliberate, focused, and knowing what deserves your energy.

That balance keeps me grounded and intentional.
