Why are Russians such a***holes?

The Russian people I know and have met (including my visit to St Petersburg a few years ago) are very nice, normal everyday people. Not much different from myself. Russian politicians, like most politicians everywhere, like to grab power and keep it, in any way they can.

I have no idea who you met but I am friends with a few Russian families and they are the nicest people in general. They are educated people and not stereotypical village drunkards, though.

Based on my experience, Russian and Polish people are similar and it seems like it's a culture thing.

This is their nature, they are used on it and they see it normal.
