I know! I try to stay off of this topic, but I want to see where everybody's mind is at. No judgement here this time, I won't comment on any of your opinions unless it's a direct insult to me.

It's the Democrat version of NAMBLA; an imaginary boogeyman conjured up to terrify the public into voting against someone who would never support anything like it. Donald Trump is not only the most liberal Republican Presidential candidate of my lifetime, he's more liberal than Joe "I'm going to openly claim- not just admit, but claim- that I based my choice for running mate on her race and sex" Biden. It's also laughable that the who lead a global initiative to decriminalize homosexuality, appointed the first openly gay cabinet member, was divorced twice, made the Republican National Convention burst into cheers by declaring he'd protect "LGBT Americans" and declared adultery "not a sin" is going to "enforce traditional Christian values". And the guy who called for the imprisonment of the Central Park three without trial or evidence and serves as the living embodiment of the word "blowhard" isn't going to enforce more modern or Biblical Christian values, either. Taking his claims of election fraud to court and letting individual States handle Covid responses doesn't point toward "I want to be a dictator" either, but the biggest problem is a simpler one:

TRUMP WAS ALREADY PRESIDENT.

If you look at his actions (not his words, his actions), you'll find things you disagree with, but he generally did a good job. Not great, but good. And absolutely nothing that points toward ANY of what this nonsense accuses him of trying to do. Realistically, the worst thing you'd get (in this vein) is pushing to repeal the 22nd Amendment, so he could run for office again.

Project 2025 is a plan cooked up by the far right, including the Heritage Foundation and many Trump supporting thinkers and organizations, that includes many things that Trump knows will cause many to be upset with it, so he claims he knows little about it and is completely against it. The truth is that Project 2025 was enabled by a whole bunch of former Trump administration officials. The project's main "playbook" is a 900 page document called “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise". The playbook calls for nullifying anti-climate-change efforts while supercharging its deadly effects, abolishing the Education Department and dramatically cutting back on free school meals and the Head Start program, cutting earned benefits like Medicaid, expanding the deportation powers of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and consolidating presidential power significantly. Pretty scary stuff. That is why Trump claims he is against it while he really supports it and is pushing it.

I’ve heard of it. I don’t like it. I hope Trump is telling the truth when he disavows it. (Though I can’t imagine the thrice married Trump, who’s probably slept with more girls than he can remember, supporting stuff like ending divorce and banning contraceptives.)

If it's true I think Europe and the UK should cut ties with the USA and treat it as a rogue state. America is becoming a bigger threat than Russia and China, it won't belong before it uses it's military might to force it's nazi mentality on the rest of the world.

Project 2025 is the blueprint for how to fix the country. It is a multi faceted plan that includes the government, education, the economy, the military, the state department , immigration and energy. Their website has a good accounting of it.

I am not sure what to think about President Trump saying that he never heard of it since some of his appointees have authored it. It is over 900 pages long in its entirety so maybe he did not want to be associated with it because he has not read it in its entirety. If there was something that was too extreme in it like banning abortion completely in the whole country the fake news would run 24/7 that Trump wants to ban abortion.

I've heard of it, but have not bothered to dig into it much. It sounds like "Contract With America" round two.

What I think about it is that the conservatives are basically doing the same thing that Democrats have been doing for a number of years. The difference is that the conservatives made the mistake of taking it public instead of keeping it behind the scene like the Democrats.

Both are evil and tearing the country apart. What we need is a good old fashioned revolution. It's past time to push the reset button and obliterate the powers that be.
