I am a millennial, but on the tail end. I was born in 1994, and a lot of my peers are GenZ'ers. My school years were mainly in the 2000s.

Many of the older generations, like my grandparents generation, kept a tight ship. They were more diciplined with an emphasis on manners. Sadly, that generation is dying off.

I feel we are left with a complete disaster. I am losing faith in humanity.

Just sounds like you used to vent to your older generation about how ‘present day’ scares you, now they are dying off you are afraid of living in a world of “no manners” yeah! I would believe that notion however it isn’t very kind to put the dooming of humanity on the backs of Gen Z and future generations.

Not even older generations had a tight ship, PTSD exists and people died in the WWII. Also look up WWII soldiers in women’s clothing (they did it for fun)

I've gotta say yes.. While I'm technically part of that generation, I grew up more like a millenial (in the sense that I didn’t get my first phone until I was in my mid teens, about 15. I also spent a lot of time playing sports outside and was into stuff like crafting, reading, movies and drawing).. I feel like I can't relate to most people of my generation. Most of them are sheep, who follow or copy everything they see on social media.

They also, seem to lack empathy about others and be extremely self-absorbed.. One just has to read the comments on TikTok, who are incredibly mean and toxic (even if the content is as basic as cooking), but if the same people post on Shorts (for example), they get way more positive feedback. The difference is TikTok's mostly full of late Gen Z.. Gen Alpha will be even worse, growing up at the era of AI.

Yes. The worst thing about my generation is, how entitled it is. They feel like they're free to do whatever they want and insult, or disrespect people with different views. People don't speak normally they just speak in awful offensive terms and constantly use weird slang. When facing any pushback for their comments they’ll respond with some variation of “it’s not that deep” as if that absolves them of whatever it is they said. I also hate TikTok which I have a feeling is because of the content Gen Z posts.

I have to disagree. Every generation has those young people who experienced their own "rebel" moments. We are still continuing to mature and learn.

Younger individuals just perceive older people as "disciplined" because they have gained wisdom over time. The majority of them had their own fun and foolish times, akin to those of today's youth.

The woke nonsense is just getting worse and parents are afraid to discipline their kids nowadays. Kids are becoming more and more entitled and thinking they can get away with doing or saying anything to others.

Not necessarily. A cultural revolution is coming where our leaders become more nationalist and mercantilist. They will isolate AI and strongly suppress Socialism/Communism and wokeism. There will be a resurgence of religion. The country will experience rebirth. These generations must educate to serve peoples, not corporatism's, needs. Not soft things but dirty hands work. And joining the military.

Many of Gen Z will step up and drive forward. Many will die though. Many in the 1970s-1980s and since have died due to drugs, craziness, and the like. Some though will invent, work-hard, save, and act more like prior generations. The stupid, the weak, the unlucky will die off, just like other generations.
