I was watching it live when it happened. One of the main protection tactics the Secret Service used was to immediately surround President Trump so that you couldn't even see him. Obviously that would make it very difficult for the shooter to get off another shot at President Trump.
So there were a bunch of guys and this one woman who immediately surrounded him after he was shot. But the woman was way too small so where she was standing, you could see him because she wasn't big enough to cover up her part of his body that she was supposed to be protecting.
Cut the crap with the women. They're weaker than men, they're less able to protect people, and they don't belong in jobs like that. That includes a police, the fire department and the military.
Go play your woke fantasy politics somewhere else. This is about people's lives, and in this case it's about the future of the country.
They made a big mistake the Secret Service when Trump got into the motorcade at the end. He stood up and he was an open big time wide target. If there was more snipers it would’ve been a disaster. They should have never let him stand to give a fist pump just before getting into the motorcade.
@DrPepper12 I agree that woman CAN be as good as men but that is by no means a given. Too many women are just pushed along in training programs simply because they are female.
I think the Secret Service made a lot of big mistakes.
The first one is how the hell could someone have gotten up on a roof with a rifle within 400 ft of President Trump? Why didn't they have someone on that roof?
Next, it seems that President Trump has the smallest allocation of Secret Service resources of any former president. Why? If anything you think he would have the largest allocation of their resources because he is publicly exposed far more than any of the other previous presidents and at much greater risk.
Another one is that there were witnesses who were at the Trump rally who said they saw the man on that roof, climbing to the roof with the rifle and actually up on the roof. And they also saw the secret service on another building on the roof and we're pointing to the roof where the man with the rifle was for minutes before the shooting to inform the police and the secret service. So why didn't they stop the guy during those minutes? Why were they ignoring these people who were letting them know?
There are a lot of unanswered questions about the Secret Services performance that led to this.
@Iron_Man I agree with what you say about the USSS. I remember watching training videos that were produced by the USSS in the 1990's when. I was at the DEA academy. When the USSS perceived a threat, their response was EXPLOSIVE and deliberate. The protected was positively manhandled and shoved into the "Beast" (armored Cadillac) and sled away, while the remaining agents stayed to fight the threat.

Someone else said she had trouble getting her gun out of its holster as well because she is an emotional woman!
As far as her being too small to even cover the president what good is she? She needs to go and be replaced by a big strong man. Period.
And Trump was damn lucky that he didn't get shot where she left a hole in the gap or it would have been on her if he died because SHE WANTED TO BE A SECRET SERVICE AGENT! She's as bad at her job as Kamala Harris is at her job.

A woman can't be any thing she wants to be but because of Affirmative Action they have to have so many females doing jobs they just aren't qualified to do. It did cross my mind that DEI might have had an impact with this shooting. Who allowed that roof to be open? Who approved the plan? Trump had asked for better security before this. The Leadership level looks like DEI has been a priority. It’s a shame. DEI is destroying a lot. It weakens organizations as merit is not the priority.
I watched Dan Bongino today. He’s ex secret service and he said the whole thing was a complete cluster fuck. The agents protecting Trump have begged for more agents to be present at these large events. They were denied at the top. Biden tried to deny ALL secret service protection to Trump, because that’s what a dick-tater does.
Dan said that there should have been helicopters and drones in the sky watching the rooftops. That was denied. Dan said that the counter-snipers you saw on the roof were not secret service. They were local cops.
It hasn’t been confirmed, but some think the counter-snipers were Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder!
Yes, if Trump wants to continue these rallies, he's going to have to hire Academi. This is the new name for Black Water. These are some badass mother fuckers like ex-Navy Seals. This incident wouldn't have happened under their watch.
