Hundreds of years from now, when future historians talk about this period in American history, will they refer to it as the "Age of Trump"?

Put aside whether you like him or hate him. Hasn't he basically dominated American political discourse since 2016? And it seems like that will continue through 2028 at least.

If they are objective about it it will be the "age of McConnell" as mitch McConnell is the one who packed the courts with far right activist judges. And it is far right activist judges who legislated Citizens United from the bench, allowing far right billionaires to completely reshape the media to their whims - that was the point of the ruling, after all. In a pre citizens united media environment Trump would not have win the primary in 2016. Probably Hillary wouldn't have, either.

No. Authentic historians to not like to name an era after a particular person. An example being the Jacksonian era is not an acceptable descriptor anymore. A good example of a neutral descriptor is something like the Hellenistic age instead of the age of Alexander.

Don't get me wrong Trump will figure prominently but it will be more about ideology than the person.

Future historians, not even 100 years from now, will be talking from the Kingdom Of God (New Jerusalem), as this OLD Earth will no longer exist. How and what they talk about will depend on what God's plan is for our memories of past events.
