May I suggest to you the flexibility of "assumptive logic" this logic doesn't require a rock solid foundation to build upon just one that's highly plausible.

For example most white gilled mushrooms are poisonous, so why take the risk on the few that aren't? Just assume they are and avoid them all.

The same logic works with humans. Women wear dresses therefore that person in a dress flirting with you must be a woman so you might as well bang it. There's a 0.1% you'll be wrong and need therapy but at least you followed logic.

Try this test. You see a young man crawling on a roof with a gun at a rally. Do you conclude

A) he wants a better view of his hero and to support the 2nd ammendments

B) he identifies as a cat but needs the gun to catch pigeons

C) he's going to shoot someone

Now logically it would be dumb to shoot anyone because you're stuck on a rood surrounded by thousands of people baying foe your blood. Rule out C.

He'd get a better view with front row seats so rule out A

Thus we can safely conclude he identifies as a cat and is just innocently hunting pigeons.
