To what degree is it a problem that here on G@G you will be having a political discussion and just get blocked the moment you prove somebody wrong?

I'm not suggesting we remove the block feature, not at all, but how can we move forward as a nation, or as a planet, when we block out contrasting information and, with all due respect, wallow in our own ignorance?

It is epidemic. These snowflakes (even older ones) can't handle any opposing opinion. No person here should be able to censor anyone's opinions from others to see. Just himself so he has his "safe space". Otherwise, everyone else should be able to see every opinion even if the original poster didn't like it and does not want to see it.

I blocked a notorious female pedophile because I disliked her posts. But other perverts here might like them. I report clearly offensive posts and look for the mods to pass judgment on them. I have had explicit posts shot down, but the rules is the rules,

I think discussions in general need to generate an exchange of ideas, not a contest between who is right and who is wrong. When it comes to politics and religion, invariably discussions turn into ad hominem attacks. Rarely do they stay civil. I don't block anyone for disagreement, mainly because I stay out of political and religious discussion.

That's why I'm thankful for the Anonymous, as well as the "No Replies" feature. This way you can't get blocked or harassed or stalked by snowflakes, who don't agree with your opinion, or get into fights

Huge problem. Recently asked a question when will Democrats learn that Harris's race and gender has nothing to do with why we dislike her. Someone posted a bunch of nonsense accusing me of making racist and bigoted about Harris, went to reply to explain, I have never done so and do not condone or support the fringe group of people make racist, bigoted remarks about Harris only to find out they blocked me.

It's not a problem. There are very few G@Gers capable of teaching me anything. I'm here to help not be helped. And if somebody blocks me they're simply cutting themselves off from the benefit of my advice. It's a loss to them not to me.
