Can you write things which you believe would probably make people who are heterosexual or not trans feel more tolerant towards LGBT people?

I don't think it's possible. The best thing for LGBT people to do is set a good example.

People pretty much accepted LGB and gay marriage. People are willing to live and let live. I campaigned for gay marriage and even have lesbian, gay and transgender friends.

But then the militant extremists started coming out of the woodwork and demanding to be accepted and treated with respect. Transvestites, trans-genders, exhibitionists, perverts, pedophiles, the mentally deranged and weirdest of the weird alphabet persuasions started demanding to be accepted as mainstream and to behave any way they wanted in public.
They started trying to condition school children. They began coercing children to undergo transitioning procedures. They wanted gender neutral pronouns. They demanded pronouns that reflected their "identities" instead of reality. They wanted to replace words that referred to women (for example "birthing parent" instead of mother) because they wanted people to accept the notion that men could be women. Men claiming to be women began competing competing against women in sports and beauty pageants.

No sane person should accept such extremist notions and behaviors.
The extremists should be mocked, shamed, ostracized and driven back under their rocks because they do harm to society, women, children, families, and even to sane LGBTs.

The #1 reason that people (including LGBTQ+ people) DON'T get along with, like, or tolerate many LGBTQ+ people is that they make themselves a public nuisance. Instead of being happy that they can be whatever they want to be and pursue anyone they want, they break laws in the name of representing "equal rights."

I have multiple friends who are gay, trans, lesbian, bi, you name it. All colors of the F-ing rainbow okay? You get the point. I get along well with these people.

The reason I get along with these individuals is because they act like normal humans. They aren't all in my face making sure I remember their pronouns, they don't show up naked on school campuses, they don't show up at my house at night and throw molotovs on my car, and they don't treat me like a terrible person.

Myself and my family are very accepting. Either you can handle having people with different views or you can’t.

Nothing I will write will change their minds. They just need to have it happen to them when a loved one comes out. That seems to change a lot when they love someone that is LGTB.

Nope, people are either accepting or not, trying to get someone accept that someone is gay, bisexual, a girl is a lesbian etc is at times a pointless exercise. The only time I have seen changes is when someone they have known for years and assumed was straight comes out as bisexual or gay, then they suddenly realise that it did not really matter what sexuality their friend had, they were still their friend.

But generally people who feel some kind of misguided phobia are hard to convince otherwise.

The only way those people find out they are wrong is to engage with the LGBT community; they will find that LGBT people are just like anyone else.

In my experience, most people who are labeled as having a phobia of LGBTQ+ people are being mislabeled. They just want to keep living their own life.

@MicahRaine True of course... but the ones who are being labelled as LGBT + Phobia are generally people who constantly feel a need to project their opposition and criticism.

If we could all just accept that we are all different, then life would be a little bit easier.

If someone has objections to LGBT, fine... can't tell anyone how to think, or what to accept; that person really does not have to interact with the LGBT community... but accept that it is part of our societies. Ignore them, but leave them be.

I am fully aware that certain, very vocal, minority groups within our society try to tailor our societies to their needs and expectation... same goes for them... they need to shut up.

The more you force people to worship a group, the more you create people that resent that group. The best way to gain tolerance from people who are legitimately intolerant is to set good examples, and to not antagonize them.

Honestly, if you want people to be more tolerant of something, leave them alone about it. You can't write anything to make people tolerant, but you can leave them alone. Live and let live.
