Why are people so angry and outraged with overweight women?

You're not forced to date or befriend an overweight woman. Her body, her choice and her life. You don't have to like it but perhaps just mind your business and live your own life?

Also where is this same outrage with kids being targeted and hurt by pedophiles?

I think it's a bit of an exaggeration to say people are 'angry and outraged with overweight women'.

The outrage may come from the fact that Obesity is being portrait as something beautiful and thus has to be accepted.

There is no question about it that bigger women, and men, can be good looking; it doesn't change anything about the fact that Obesity is unhealthy and thus shouldn't be promoted.

My ex is obese... no question about that with her 5'3 and 197lbs; she... is... was (she looks worn down now)... not ugly; but the fact remains that she was suffering from the extra weight, complained incessantly... and therefor I carefully tried to motivate her to lose weight; not because I wanted to her to lose weight, I loved every inch of her body, simply because she is suffering and not happy.

Very true... being [extremely] skinning is not healthy either.

Generally, though there are of course always exceptions, women with a little bit of meat on their bones and a curvy body shape are more fertile than Skinny or or really 'big' women; it is why men are generally the most attraction to them.

And the truth is that overweight for anyone, not just women is bad for their health, I agree they shouldn't be complete assholes about it but maybe helping them see the risks to their health isn't a bad thing.

Why should they even make commentary on somebody else's body or attempt to "help"? I'm pretty sure they can do that on their own. Many people who are overweight are aware and probably just wanna be left the fuck alone. Skinny people can be unhealthy and have diabetes so let's not forget that.

That's true but it's not really noticable and people that have diabetes is already normally too late and there's no helping it, it's just insulin shots for the rest of their lives which is terrible living, people that aren't eating so healthy normally can prevent that same exact route and you make a good point, they should mind their business and other people's choices don't have an effect on them but tbh it can sometimes put someone on the right track and it doesn't work for everyone but it does for some, normally someone doesn't notice themselves gain weight until someone else points it out.

I hear you. But sometimes it makes the person eat more. So in short people should worry about their own life/health. They're not God or superior.

I guess not but God the great superior, the real one does want us to care for each other and I guess what makes the difference would be their intentions and if their intentions are to actually help and change the persons perspective or to just be an asshole.

I can understand the airplane outrage when someone is forced to sit next to a fat person who should be required to buy 2 seats. It's not the smaller person's fault that person is fat and taking up their space they paid for, and it's not the airline's fault.

It is the airline's fault for allowing this to go on though. One guy died on a flight to Australia because his circulation was cut off by the fat person and there was no place else for him to sit on the plane.

Other than that I have not heard of any outrage against fat people just because of their weight.
