Is the culture war worth it?

Personally to me, it's a complete waste of time. I'd rather live a happy imperfect life than be triggered all my life with brief moments of happiness.

The culture war is necessary for that one side of the political spectrum. Because their actual policy ideas are so bad... Trickle down economics... Making abortion illegal... Coperate welfare... all vastly unpopular idea so they need the culture war to garner support

Those aren't vastly unpopular ideas. In fact, half of the country supports them. Not to say those ideas are correct or incorrect, but both sides of those issues claim that the opposite side is vastly unpopular. Except corporate welfare of course, both sides hate that, but since everyone in congress benefits from it, both left and right, not many of them are gonna vote against it. Don't act like the culture war benefits one side and not the other, both rely on it to slander the other and gain support for their own. It's been a long time since a controversial political candidate has focused on their own merits instead of trying to tear down their opponent.

I think the culture war is bad, but it's certainly not a waste of time. Both sides have used it very effectively.

I've already been bored of these race obsessed people shoving their opinions and politics down everyone's throat all the time, from both sides of the political spectrum. They have made this such an intolerably annoying country.
