Trump insults Mitch McConnell's wife over and over and over, and not only does Mitch not stand up for his wife, he whole-heartedly endorses Trump.

DeSantis endorses Trump, Trump calls him "Desantcis," and DeSantis stands by his endorsement.

Trump supports Bob Good's primary opponent, and Good still endorsed Trump.

Yes, Trump could sleep with their wives, and they'd still endorse him

The GOP overall agenda isn't naturally agreeable to politicians as such they are typically slow walked or sabotaged by the same in the interest of preserving or advancing the same politicians overall power.

Said power being of course the very thing that drove them to run for office in the first place thus defining them as politicians. The collectivist left has a much easier time in that narrow respect of getting politicians to create schemes of power, but just as hard of a time getting the same politicians to actually use the power contrary to their innate self-interest.

Ultimately this is why the only way to effectively win for an American conservative is to break the system of power from the bottom. Centralizing politic ans for centuries however aware of this have worked hard to make that as difficult as possible to retain their position, and have gradually been more and more successful.

This of coruse is the natural tendency of a state and it is likely to continue as such until the central goverment becomes too powerful and devotional to work and it collapses of its own weight.(revolution) And we eventually start again although typically with a period of ever more dysfunctional dictatorships in-between.

I'm not quarreling over your caricatured depiction of what you are citing as examples, but the vastly greater percentage of people on the other side, in my opinion. I have the unfortunate pleasure of living in Chicago, which is, of course renowned for its LGBTQ population, almost all of whom are staunch liberals. Even among straight or mostly straight guys, you still have your 'metrosexual', manicured, Volvo/Prius driving set. Sure, the Tesla is all electric, but they hate Musk with a passion.
