What is the stupidest war ever?

Honestly I'd say there hasn't really been a war not worth fighting for but by far one of the stupider justifications for "wars" I seen is any country taking over another country to make it their own just because they can and it not stopping for years. Especially if it involves killing innocent civilians that are incapable of fighting and wanted to stay out of it. At that point it's not war it's only murder.

Everyone had their reasons and none of them make any sense in hindsight.

But wars over religion are the dumbest.

The falklands war. Many people died and it created huge tensions and the land is small and the docks so windy, that even in modern times, 90% of ships are not able to dock on the island after reaching it. Fighting that hard over a tiny piece of land is a waste of resources and blood.
