Is racism a nonsensical term which has replaced the appropriate term xenophobia and thrown around like confetti?

There’s only one human race but even if you disagree with that racism isn’t restricted to race. It’s used to denounce any pertained insult or discrimination on the basis of skin colour, ethnicity, religion, nationality, place of birth, language including dialects and accents, beliefs, appearance, etc. That’s pretty much anything that looks or sounds different to us. There was a perfect word to describe all of this and it was called xenophobia. Who on earth made up this word and just why?

I think most people know and understand what you meant when you use either of those words, so, best to leave it like that

Racism is a confetti term for attention. There is none in the US just people hating others and wanting attention!

Xenophobia is kind of exclusive to foreigners whereas racism can apply to neighbors.

Yes and no. Racists believe there are more than one human race and divide the people into better and lesser humans.
