It does to those who read and know that the term has multiple definitions making it ambiguous, much like sexism and even antisemitism. The colloquial usage keeps expanding to include ANYTHING negative. It's losing it's clear definition in common use when this happens.

Take antisemitism. The ACLU will lose their shit if you call a Jew greedy. What they don't realize, is it's actually dehumanizing to generalize Jews like that. Even if it's what they consider a POSITIVE stereotype. Syllogistic logic, the transitive property, can actually answer this one. Humans can be greedy, all Jews are human, therefore Jews can be greedy. That's a valid argument based on true premises.

There's also the risk of desensitization. If they know everyone is racist and sexist, friggin it's not an insult anymore. It's just a fact at that point.

I have seen the incest thing. It's not actual incest, although you can't prove anything without blood tests. But I've seen the same videos with different labels. A video will be call "Mom fucks son" in one label and then the same video shows up in another category labelled "Older woman fucks young stud". It's marketing. So, I think it's logical to conclude that really, they're all just paid actors. If you've read about the actual lives of professionals, the industry is pretty fucked because of more user produced porn. Paid professionals have had to resort to more and more perverse shit to get their numbers back up. So they do the same thing with the labelling.

I need to clarify here. I think it’s more the ADL that vehemently denounces that. The ACLU denounces explicit antisemitism that leads to right infringement as well, but they’ve also been known to defend Neo-Nazis hateful speech about those of the Jewish faith as was their right as long as it didn’t break any laws such as explicitly inciting violence. But even that is muddy and I’m not entirely sure about.

Point is, no one should die because of a religious belief. Nor should we give preference to certain groups because they believe the beliefs of another group oppresses theirs. It’s all beliefs and doesn’t become illegal until it translates into illegal actions. I hope that’s sound.

If we lose the definition of white supremacy, then we allow white supremacy (which is an actual thing, and very dangerous) to flourish and grow.
