Why do you think society accepts lying from women but not men?

I don't know about society. I think as men we just learn that women lie about 50% of the time. So I don't worry too much about whether she's being truthful because I assume if she's talking to me at least 50% of it is b. s.

But it's WHAT she's lying about. Most women's lies are lies of omission. Women get so used to repeating a lie that most of the time she's convinced herself that she's not even lying anymore. She actually believes she's telling the truth. Women are queens if mental gymnastics. After enough women you just learn to accept this fact. You're not going to change it.

@anonymous excellent points I say it's about 75% B. S but agree that they are mostly lies on ommission. As always I have no interest in changing human behavior, rather acknowledge that it exists and figure out how to use it for my advantage.

Society is in a weird place right now where there's a bunch of emotionally-based reactions going on to wrongs from the past.

My guess is that society won't be like this for very much longer.
