I wouldn’t blame men on this one. If we want to complain about mens lies know that we only lie to women when we A care enough about her to not want to hurt her feelings or B we want to bang it out and hope to never see her again. Men don’t generally lie to women on a large scale.
The more significant perpetrators of this are women themselves. They are crabs in a bucket. Any woman that isn’t getting what she wants from life is going to make damn sure that ever other female in her vicinity is unsuccessful as well. This has shifted from simply a personally social strategy to a corporatized sociopolitical movement. Companies realized that men are less likely to buy products when marketed to in any way when compared to emotionally manipulating women into purchasing out of shame. We figured this out generations ago with the makeup market, advanced it with the cosmetic surgery market, advanced it further with the dating market, and we have expanded it infinitely with the modern woke and self loathing marketing strategy that every major corporation has in their marketing strategy today.
When it comes to men and our lies, we are fairly honest about our dishonesty; when it comes to women, they’re so far down the path that they don’t even realize that they’re being dishonest; when it comes to politics or corporations, they don’t even view consumers as human.
The main lies they are told are: 1. They can sleep around and still get a good guy for a LTR later on. (They won't want them) 2. They can do anything just as well as a man can. (Actually in emergency situations people get more injured and even die because of lowering standards/requirements.) 3. They can party (drugs and heavy alcohol drinking) and it won't affect their future kids. 4. A lie told to BOTH men and women: You need a higher college degree to have a good future. (For many it just leads to massive debt and not good job prospects, especially for the useless types of degrees.) 5. It is acceptable to post provocative and flirty pictures and videos online while in a relationship and your SO should be okay with it. Same goes for having opposite gender friends and spending time with them one on one and thinking it won't lead to relationship problems.
It’s our support group. Good girl friends defend their girls to the very last.

This one I hear a lot. A guy will justify everything he did wrong, by saying she had a an unreasonable problem with every little thing he did, all because she was clearly; “crazy.”
A lot of men I noticed don’t like to admit fault at the end of a relationship, a lot of women I noticed want a free pass...*in comes the friends*
I guess both genders do similar things for the same purpose. Ego or entitlement. A true friend would always tell you straight whilst still in a comforting way.
Unfortunately, these friends aren’t so popular at the dinner table, so people surround themselves with enablers.
Sleeping with people does feel good and freeing tho. Sex is great. Didn't know that people lied that much. I usually just tell people what I think. But I heard that it's something the Dutch do a lot. The full blown honest truth. Just tell the girl that you don't like the dress and that it doesn't look that flattering on her body.

We lie to women because we're afraid of hurting their feelings or because we're scared of their wrath. When I have conversations with women - and not on GaG, in real life - about what I think, or what I think the facts are, believe it or not most women are not offended by it and some have even said I make interesting points. But these are your average, every day women who aren't raised on white-feminist bologna.

People get lied to all the time. Everything from your history books to what you hear in the news, or on the radio or tv or other media, is a potential lie. I don't women are particularly "targeted" for lies.
its not so much a LIE as it's a "form" of truth. people don't mind being lied to if it fits/supports their agenda, whether it be personal, religious, political... whatever. what i've found is that so many tend to hinge their sense of self, virtue, and desirability on a VERSION of the truth, rather than the whole.
Guys wanna get laid more than girls, no? And also girls tend to be more sensitive than guys. Half-truths tend to be directed more towards those we wanna sleep with and those who are sensitive.
Because they have no wish to be osrasized. Go ahead & be honest with everyone, especially women & see where it gets you, you'll suffer for it. I know as I've been honest with everyone about whatever since I was 12.
Trial and error. You tell a woman the truth and she's not interested. Then you tell a woman what she wants to hear and she is. It doesn't take a genius to figure the most successful women know how to lie well.
The cold hard truth is that statistically speaking, women are both agreeable and emotional. This combination makes them manipulable, and there’s money to be made. That’s basically it.
They used to lie to men, telling them that in order to be a real man they needed to go to college, make a lot of money, get married and have kids to do the same.
It's because we have fooled ourselves into thinking that women are incapable of having agency over their own actions so whatever they we are ok with even if it ruins the lives of others and themselves.
For sex , keep them as a house maid , and because women have a problem handling the truth. They go all emotional. They also hang on to things. Not me though , most men.
