Democratic Party has a 13-point advantage (55% vs. 42%) among those with a bachelor’s degree or more formal education. Since 2017, the gap in partisanship between college graduates and those without a degree has been wider than at any previous point in Pew Research Center surveys dating back to the 1990s.

About six-in-ten registered voters who have a postgraduate degree (61%) identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party, while 37% associate with the Republican Party. Voters with a bachelor’s degree but no graduate degree are more closely divided: 51% Democratic, 46% Republican.

I would guess it is because those in universities tend to be more open minded. Campuses are usually very diverse.

I would also say that some of the things I have been taught in my uni classes don’t sit well with me. I am open minded. However, I am neither Republican nor a Democrat. Yet, somethings just don’t sit well with me when taught some topics. My guess it would be my morals and values kicking in (I am a Christian).

Some people do say that colleges are indoctrinating. I do agree that college is a very political place, and they may be pushing their political agenda. Those of us who go don’t really care, tbh. Some do, but I feel like it is mainly those who are higher up in their education (Masters and PhD students). Bachelor degree peeps care, but not enough to give a dang/create a fuss about it. lol

For the undergrad peeps, it is just parties, clubbing, getting hammered, getting high, boys, homework, and school clubs. 😂

That's easy. people who go to college realize all the bs their rural insular racist community fed them is bullshit when they meet diverse people and become tolerant, empathetic and understanding. All the more so in an urban environment where salaries and opportunities are such that the idea of returning home to that small community with it's small minded people I'd just unthinkable.

That's because the higher education teaches you to question everything including God. America was always prosperous when "In God we Trust" now the well educated population is questioning if God exists and the population is gradually becoming Godless, corrupt & lawless. This is what the Democrats stand for Godlessness, which largely began with higher education.

If you had seen our "schools" you would know both why said "education" isn't paying off like it use to and why the people who managed to get thou it lean left.

It really isn't "education" so much as indoctrination.
