The Japanese people made an excellent concept called Ikigai. “iki” meaning “to live,” and “gai” meaning “reason,” which translates to “a reason to live.” It's a concept that encourages people to discover what truly matters to them and to live a life filled with purpose and joy. There are 4 aspects of your life you should aim to combine and pursue:

What you love
What you're good at
What you can be paid for
What the world needs

If you can find something that fits all 4 of those, you'll likely live a very content/satisfied life. You're more likely to find happiness in life if you have success in your relationships, your interests & hobbies, and career you're passionate about.

I think it’s finding where you belong in this world. I think people compare themselves to other people, there will always be someone who has it better. It’s like you strive to have a million dollars, then it’s multi million dollars, then it’s a billion dollars, and the list goes on.

There is only one of you. If you’re your true authentic self you will be the person others strive to be. There is someone who has more money, someone who looks better then you, and the list goes on. Even for those people they aspire to be someone else probably too OR…. They are just them.

Most people who have something to prove inside are not happy people.
