    One thing?

Republics are democracies; the people choose their leaders, despite any stupid rules in the way like first past the post in the UK or the electoral college in the US (only).

Trump lies. All the time. About almost everything.

The legal and electoral systems in the US have been pretty robust, so far.

Trump wants to use the DoJ and IRS to attack his enemies, so he pretends his enemies are doing the same (see "Trump lies. All the time. About almost everything.")

There are such things as facts.

    Covid is real.

    Masks work.

Vaccines work (in that they make it much less likely for you to die, which in my mind is pretty damn important).

"Stop the steal" was a plan hatched in 2016 by Roger Stone, who was pardoned by Trump for covering for him. https://archive.is/jpP2w

More guns don't make you safer. (The US has a higher murder rate from knives than the UK, the guns are on top of that!)

    Government can make things better.

At sone point you get tired of telling people what to do and you just have to move on.

I think the worst thing that a person can do is expect someone who doesn’t want to change to charge. Some people never learn this lesson either with the same person or with someone else. It’s so frustrating to explain to someone their past mistakes and choices, where it ended them up, and yet they just never learn their lesson.

It’s one thing to just not know any better but you would think after the same old things. The same old story they would get tried of it.

That the mainstream media is manipulated by majority democratic views and tell half truths narrated with lies to manipulate the brain of the viewers.
for example playing a clip of something real and then narrating to you what it “really” meant. Making the viewer see and think something that is not even there. Then they repeat it nonstop and it becomes a reality to the masses then they start repeating the lies themselves. It’s horror show in real life.

@goaded you actually are an example. You have a Ukraine flag likely not even from Ukraine yourself but brainwashed by what mainstream media posted for us that poor Ukraine is under attack. If I keep taunting someone over and over and over, eventually they’re gonna fight back. If nobody knows what exactly had been going on and only know what is narrated of what “supposedly” happen and so it very well looks to fit the narration then you’re bound to defend the one that provoked the attack and label the other an aggressor when they were not initiating anything but it aligns it self with the rest of the reputation that the same media that is feeding you the lies today had fed you lied before making the you side to where they want you to side. In this case the poor little Ukraine being unjustly attacked by a giant Russia because Russia is soooooo Evil because look at all then previous narrations about how it attacked so many other countries. Well of course if you follow only the narrations that are fed to us then it really does seem that way. Dumbing is down to bow to whenever the manipulative media wants you to support.

Once you’re brainwashed it share to step out of the bubble. Especially when you attempt to see if maybe it’s true, but only end up searching in search engines that fed you same narrative censoring the truth and feeding you fact check after fact check that only verified the previous lie as a truth and so on.

Everything edited today as well to fit todays narration. Deleting real history and modifying it to keep the people brainwashed. As you can see most articles have “updated with recent dates” but to a brainwashed mind that’s not relevant as long as it keeps the game fairytale they des you since the beginning that Russia is the “evil one”.

It's funny how people who call me brainwashed believe utter nonsense.

Is Russia engaged in a full-on invasion of Ukraine right now, or not? Did they start it intending to take the whole country in days? Of course they did.

"My neighbour kept using his leaf blower" doesn't give you the right to go over there, punch them, and keep their stuff. Putin wants the USSR back, with him at the top; anyone can see that.

@goaded this proves my point exactly. You repeat what was narrated to you because that’s what it LoOkS like. You’re a good sheep. The perfect type they’d say.

@goaded the fact you quoted “putin wants ussr back” proves you fall easily into propaganda but I can’t label you entirely stupid for it because I admit the propaganda is soooo good at what it does, it’s hard not to fall for it when it narrates what it seems to be, making it all that much more believable.

And no, not so much about “helping the ukranians” although it is, it’s more to pretect his own country and his people from what what our government mostly under democratic rule has been doing for many years.
We violated everything we agreed not to do posing a threat to Russia only to keep provoking a sleeping giant and all this time Russia has been patient, had it been the other way around we would have responded with violence and
Bombings a looooong long time ago just like we always do even for things that are not even verified like what we did to Iraq killing so many innocents and told us in the news don’t worry “we got the bad guys” and nobody ends up caring about all the innocent people we bombed mercilessly based on a complete lie that nobody bothered to verify and just went in to kill a bunch of innocent people.

Where as in Ukraine it’s the opposite, but the media has to lie to keep the agenda going to keep us voluntarily suporting that war (you are a clear example) while people die there, we get poorer taxing us down to keep it going and the only ones getting richer are Biden and zelensky they censor the truth and call it propaganda they keep the truth from the public because thats the only way to get people like you to keep supporting all this death where only the ones at the top win. Sick. Oh but Russia is the evil one, that’s the main agenda. 🤡

How about Putin's own words where he says Ukraine and Belarus are really parts of Russia?
      en.wikipedia.org/.../On_the_Historical_Unity_of_Russians_and_Ukrainians

What the states bordering Russia really are are states that should be allowed to make their own decisions. However, when they decide to move away from Russia because they don't like what Russia is doing to them or states like theirs, Russia attacks them.

Hence Finland now being part of NATO.

Funny how your opinions about propaganda are full of it. "our government", hmm.

    Myself. 👍 💯

Tired of explaining myself to certain people. So it’s just whatever. Not that I gave up, but they never wished to know or tried to. Some think it’s funny to pretend they don’t and others are so self absorbed with themselves and their own insecurities that they can’t get past that to see others or see variety in the world. It is what it is.

Why I no longer support a certain…. Man.
People call me a bot, liar, phony, traitor, etc.
I’m not tired of the name calling, just that no one believes it / tries to subvert the logic of it.

I am not pushing anything or putting anything forcefully into this posting…. Just really upsetting because it is the choice I made with a method to it. Some just don’t like opinions that conflict with theirs.

The value, importance, of two-step thinking. Understanding what causes which problems and why; how to prevent those problems from occurring. I don't understand the dumb founded, incredulous looks I get from people when I explain to them that actions have very predictable consequences.

I didn't realize how many people go through life where every fucking thing is a complete mystery.

I would really like to hear a concrete example of what you mean.

What, hypothetically, do you think the "very predictable" consequence of calling a mob of supporters to DC and telling them that an election was stolen and they had to fight like hell or they wouldn't have a country any more would be?

@goaded Yes, that is one example of a situation I predicted would happen with 100% accuracy. I wrote a short paper about it for a constitutional law professor where I predicted that the supreme court's refusal to hear Trump's cases, despite their having clear jurisdiction to do so would result in an outburst of violence.

I expect you got an F.

Not a single one of Trump's legal challenges got anywhere, and the lawyers that brought many of them have been punished for bringing such frivolous claims with no evidence.

There would have been no violence absent Trump's lies about how the election was stolen, his call for people to come to DC, or his rhetoric (notwithstanding his solitary use of the word "peacefully"). Lies that had been prepared for back in 2016, when he expected to lose.

Oh, and unlike you I have proof of that last part (the rest is self-evident):

That people need to use 2FA to protect their online accounts and that it needs to be via an authenticator app or something like a Yubikey, if they don’t, then the risks of loosing access to an online account dramatically increases.

The inflation certainly wasn't great, but inflation in and of itself isn't really much of a problem. The problem comes when people can't work. If the fuckery only happened in 2020, the inflation could have been absorbed. To that point, I don't think Trump administration policies were so much the problem.
