I’m definitely WELL over the undying, unwavering support for Donald Trump. It’s not even about the politics of it, or even totally about what I personally think of Donald Trump (other than being able to see through his act), it’s just the sheer delusional lunacy. Like if you take this guy on his word about pretty much anything he says…. I really don’t think there’s help for you. The election wasn’t stolen. I know he said it was, but it wasn’t. My Pillow Guy just had his third cyber-conference or whatever the other day, you know, where he claims this will be the time he comes up with the irrefutable evidence of widespread voter fraud, and what do you know? They had nothing, AGAIN.

And the whole “fake news!”, “you can’t believe the liberal media!” stuff….. that’s so old and tired now. You can’t just slough off any and all negative news as fake. That excuse falls flat on its face the billionth time it gets thrown around. That can’t just be one’s answer for everything and have any expectations of being taken seriously. I watch MSNBC sometimes, I get it, it’s decidedly not pro-Trump, anchors are rolling their eyes and shaking their heads…. and to be fair, I wish the news would just tell me the news without any sort of spin…. but to also be fair, how is that different than what Tucker Carlson or any of them on FoxNews do? They’re rolling their eyes and shaking their heads too, just about different things they choose to highlight. And honestly, since I moved in to take care of my dad, I see more FoxNews than anything, and I’m astounded at how divorced from reality they are, all the while claiming that THEY’RE the only ones telling the truth. Except the problem is I leave my house everyday, I go out into the world, and most of the shit they say is happening, isn’t happening. It’s all I can do to not be like “ohhhh myyyyy GOD” at some of their takes. I’ve just never seen news so dishonest, like it’s literally just propaganda most of the time, vs supposedly liberal sources, which are for sure biased, which for sure play up certain angles and downplay others, but at least it matches the reality I live in and I can walk outside of my house and confirm a lot of these things are real and actually happening. FoxNews is like a panel of angry people mad at the changing world and desperately trying to dress up their own intolerances as some form of noble stewardship of society, as if their the heroes in the story, and what bothers me most is so much of it is so flimsy, and they tell you the sky isn’t blue with a straight face, so I just take it as an insult to my intelligence.

Like imagine if someone THOUGHT they were invisible but they weren’t, but they were hanging around you and trying to fuck with you, maybe make you think there’s a ghost or something. And this completely visible person was walking around the room, talking out loud to themselves, “Ooh! I’m going to knock his drink off the table and onto the floor, he’ll never know who did it!” And you can hear and see the whole thing, and now your drink is spilled on the floor, and they’re sitting there like “tee-hee!”, with an impish grin on their face…. not entirely sure where I’m going with this on-the-fly analogy, but it’s that level of “bro…. how stupid do you think the rest of us are?” annoyance.

January 6th hearings…..”it’s a witch hunt!” “It’s a kangaroo court!” “It’s a…a…. honey, what was that word Sean Hannity used last night?” Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger went full kamikaze on their own political careers to participate, never heard a bad word about either of them until this, and now they’re sell-outs and traitors, RINOs, etc…Liz Cheney, a RINO, just lmfao. It just changes with the breeze for these people. It’s all about undying devotion to Cheetoh Jesus, there’s no need for consistency or principle. We KNOW Kevin McCarthy was talking about having Trump removed from his text messages in the wake of Jan. 6th, and the guy pulled a complete 180 after meeting with Trump…. most of these Republicans probably know the deal, but they won’t stand up to Trump for fear of losing the votes of his most rabid supporters. That’s literally all this is about. People who never gave a shit about politics ears perked up when they were like “wait…. we talking about Mexican rapists and grabbing chicks by the pussy? I’m IN, boys, MAGA!!!”

Like THIS is so many of the type of people we’re dealing with and who they’re kowtowing too. All to keep their own jobs and to not sink their own party’s agenda. I would be distancing myself from Trump SO FAST, like “hey, look…we liked his policies, but the guy was a narcissistic maniac. We bet on the wrong horse. Let’s just remain true to our party’s goals and find a more sane candidate.”

But they can’t do that, because so many of the Trump crazies just weren’t active in the scene before Trump. These aren’t people who were going to McCain or Romney rallies 10-15 years ago, this is a whole new breed of animal that’s there for the show, and the party likes to see the activity, and are clearly fearful the vigorous supporters will ride off into the sunset with Trump and go back to shopping barefoot at Walmart lmfao. I think if you gave the Republicans truth serum, they don’t like Trump, but they know his circus puts asses in the seats, so they’re dependent on him. Can’t wait to see all the off-brand Trump impersonators they’ll wheel out going forward, that seems to be the formula for them.

This is running way too long, I’ll quit soon, I promise, lmao…. but just case-in-point…. the FBI search warrant, IMMEDIATELY, before we had any other information besides Trump breaking the news himself that the search and seizure had been executed, the FoxNews people were throwing accusations around. “This is a witch hunt”, “Biden weaponized the DoJ”, “The FBI could be planting evidence”, “this is unprecedented!”, “they could be coming for YOU next!”…. I mean, holy fuck…. tell me you’re disingenuous partisan hacks without telling me you’re disingenuous partisan hacks. Like maybe wait five minutes for some information? Say what you want about MSNBC or CNN, but in their coverage, there was a lot of “this is a developing story”, “there’s a lot we don’t know”, “we’ll have to see how this shakes out”…. and I could see in their faces that they wanted to spike the football, but they didn’t, because, biased as they may be, they at least had the journalistic integrity and discipline to take it as it came and not jump to conclusions until more information came out and warranted additional speculation. FoxNews was just like “The FBI is the new Gestapo!!!”🤦‍♂️😂

This semester, when inevitably it comes up again, I plan to meet with them 1 on 1 and have a serious confrontation.
