Have you, or someone you know, ever been resuscitated from cardiac arrest?

I'd be extremely interested in hearing from, and sharing with, other people who've been resuscitated from cardiac arrest, or who know someone who has.

The community of those who've been brought back from cardiac arrest seem to have taken to giving themselves the acronym of SCAS, for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Survivors.

I prefer the acronym of SCAR, for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Resuscitatee, as I find that acronym to be much more apropos to my plight.

I'm a SCAR.

Cardiac arrest resuscitation may sound great to those who've never experienced it.
I promise you that, for me, as is the case for many SCARs, life since my resuscitation has been torture of an indescribable nature ever since I was brought back to life on 3/3/2024.
The torture that I endure, psychologically, physically, emotionally, every which possible way, is beyond imagination, yet I'm experiencing it.

I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo.
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here.

I don't belong here.

Have you, or someone you know, ever been resuscitated from cardiac arrest?
