What’s your opinion about the legalization of sex work?

I think it’s time for the West Coast states (outside of only Nevada) to start talking about doing something differently when it comes to the human rights of sex workers. In an underground hidden world primarily made up of women, LGBTQIA individuals, and minorities, the West Coast could do more for the integrity, and rights, of these communities.

I agree but at the same times me legalizing sex work could actually contribute to the exploitation of these people. Much like how legalizing drugs actually made things worse in Oregon.

Why didn’t it become some big problem in Nevada? There is a way to do it, we already see it.

I think it is a big problem in Nevada. Sex work, I mean.

What is the way to do it?

There has to be something better than what is going on right now in California, Oregon, Washington. I don’t think it’s a big problem in Nevada, I don’t think it’s a quality of life problem in European countries like what you see in Portland, or Vancouver BC, with methamphetamine, fentanyl, and xylazine, which do not really treat addiction as a medical problem. Nothing is perfect but the way it’s handled now is not working at all.

Yeah maybe. I don’t know that much about it but I agree something needs to be done to help exploited sex workers.

Prostitution should be decriminalized, licensed, regulated and taxed just like any other care giver.
