Why are boomers still so anti tattoo?

It’s really irks me if I can be quite honest. A person covered in tattoos can be a great employee, great father/mother, and a wonderful human being as well. Tattoos are not trashy, nor do they say anything about your character. They are an expression of creativity and art. I can’t even imagine living my life in such a narrow minded way

Most baby boomers are retired. You're having problems with Gen X and Millennials now. It's not a generational problem. It's a you problem. Most people don't have tattoos nor like them. When you look at Gen X only 14% have one tattoo and 18% have multiple tattoos. For Millennials, 12% have one tattoo and 29% have multiple tattoos. In Gen Z 4% have one tattoo and 19% have multiple tattoos. So the problem you are having with your poor judgement will carry on for the next 3 generations easily.

Tons of people have tattoos and like them. At least that’s how it works where I live. They’re very socially accepted

Then look for work in your small social genre where you live, because across broader society it's not something that is acceptable by any of the current adult generations.

My view is your have the social media side of it and the real world side of it, the social media side always seems to show the worst possible and then shoves in mental health, the real world is completely different, loads have tats and some it’s 1 to 3 or so.

My boomer parents are covered in tattoos so no idea about the boomers being anti tattoo. I've noticed the younger generations don't like them as much anymore

I’m just talking in general apple. Never said all boomers are against them. As far as statistics go, boomers are more likely to be against them than younger people.

I am anti tattoo by nature. If someone doesn't want employees with tattoos then that's their choice. Don't judge people for their choices. Do you still.

I'm not a boomer and I still dislike tattoos. I think they don't look good on women at all. But hey, to each their own.
