Roughly 1 in 5 voters said they find it credible that the shooting was staged and not intended to kill Trump, including 33% of Biden’s supporters and 12% of those who back Trump. The majority of voters (62%) said the unsubstantiated notion is not credible. Notably, 38% of voters said Trump himself was to blame for the violent moment.

Over half of voters, including 53% of Biden supporters and 52% of Trump’s supporters, said they were “very concerned” about election-related violence this year, while roughly 2 in 5 said they were “somewhat concerned,” with little divide based on candidate support.

I can understand where the theory comes from, in the sense that it’s ABSOLUTELY the kind of thing I could see Trump doing, lmao.

But the reality is that that would be way too hard to pull off, just grazing him purposely, nor do I think he’d volunteer for that kind of dice roll. I could see the “fake blood” idea, but other people were shot, one was killed, so there was definitely live fire. And the FBI has confirmed that as well (the same FBI that’s supposedly trying to do Trump political harm🙄😂).

I guess you just have to tip your hat to his showmanship. He seized the opportunity to ham it up for his crowd and turn it into a rallying moment, and I guess doing that in the immediate aftermath of getting clipped by a bullet is admittedly impressive. I don’t know why anyone would be convinced or reinforced about the idea of his fitness as a president because he did a little Pauly D fist pump after an assassination attempt, but I’ll give a half point for in-game awareness.

But if anyone was going to pull such a stunt, it would definitely have been Trump, lmao

One thing I was thinking about lately: Trump is an elderly man, he’ll likely die in the next ten years or so, maybe sooner. When his time comes, unless he has some sort of prolonged identifiable illness like cancer, do you think MAGA supporters will just accept his death as naturally occurring? I feel like he’s going to die at like 100, peacefully in his sleep, and will have all these goofs running around claiming foul play. “hE wAs pOiSoNeD!!!”🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂😂😂

No, this is part of the great flip I predicted about a year ago. Since it's becoming clearer now. I'll explain some of it again.

The media is currently trying to swap certain aspects of both parties. CNN Is about to start supporting Republicans and bashing democrats. I don't think this is a given, I think it's an attempt at a transition the immediate success of which depends on the election.

You're going to start seeing Democrat counterparts for people like Ben Shapiro and they'll find a Democrat Joe rogan and Tim pool. Basically all the most successful personalities, they're going to try to appeal to similar audiences on their side using the same techniques thir competition uses.

They're already working on getting democrats used to conspiracies. Before this it was project 2025. Something that most conspiracy people I think knew sounded a little too much like a newsletter from 15 years ago to be taken seriously.

Anyway, they see their shit is falling apart so they're trying to switch optics by introducing new concepts and storylines to their side. Which is what makes what they're doing so smart because it doesn't really matter if it works as planned or not.

I understand why people thought it was staged at the time. But he incites violence with his rhetoric constantly, hence after a rant about the media, someone at his rally immediately went and physically attacked the media present. He loves knowing how mindless his followers are. It must kill his ego that the registered Republican who shot at him was just doing it because Trump happened to visit his town and any politician nearby would've gotten shot at by that kid and it wasn't personal toward Trump any more than any other politician.

It would be one hell of an insanely well orchestrated act to pull off to stage Trump’s assassination attempt.

It require Trump to be an academy award level actor along with the best of the best in AI video footage of all the evidence. Also was the murder of innocent bystander Trump rally attendee Corey Comperator staged? The guy was a firefighter and had a family. Was that all made up too?

Anyway some conservatives have also ran off into the conspiracy downward spiral that the Biden administration was behind that assassination attempt. Despite my absolute hatred/disdain of the Biden administration I refused to believe something that crazy without hard evidence. I believe there are enough psycho lone wolf Lee Harvey Oswald types out there that an incident like this wasn’t impossible.

Anyway at this point I still believe Thomas Matthew Crooks acted alone. However he was using encrypted messaging accounts in Germany, Belgium and New Zealand. Why is a 19 year old who works in health care using encrypted platforms? That’s what terrorist organizations do.

But still I need more solid evidence to believe if he was groomed/trained by a nefarious outside influence to do what he did. And I can still believe that he was a ticking time bomb because a lot of psycho people are very good at keeping everything inward until they go berserk.

A Right Wing Household 2nd Amendment YouTube Viewer shot the former President (current political party candidate) in an attempted assassination which left one killed and others wounded. Donald J Trump is lucky to be alive, as would anyone in his position.

I don’t align with his ideals (as a former Trump supporter) though I do hold the compassionate side that this is a former President, politician of the US, and served this country (no matter how good or bad) it isn’t a good look when such a leader is almost killed on the world stage. I prayed for him twice, once with Covid19 struggling in the Hospital and second after hearing word of the assassination attempt.

Left Wingers & Right Wingers need to set aside bias and go by the facts. 1) We don’t know the motives 2) It was a Conservative individual dealing with mental health issues who had a weapon & crafted makeshift devices & kept to himself as a loner…. 3) It was one shooter and 4) Secret Service & local law enforcement failed to protect Trump and let their country down.
