while leadership is torn which voters we can afford to lose? not "reigning in" the "squad' and these 30!

It seems very likely that Biden's chances at re-election is growing slimmer and slimmer by the day. By the look of things currently, Trump will be our next president. The border will be closed, illegals deported. Aid packages will cease to almost nothing because the war between Israel and Hamad will come to an end. Issues going on in the US will slowly become handled as long as democrats don't block anything out of resentment for Trump.

As someone from PA, it's very simple, A: Democrats had a higher voter turnout and B: Biden is an incumbent and C: Republicans held a legit primary with debates where Dem's did not so Haley had way more name recognition then Phillips, I bet if you asked PA voters who Phillips was, over 75% would say they've never heard of him or heard of him but don't know nothing about him.

Actually voters are abandoning Biden left and right, Biden got 335,000 fewer votes in 2024 as a incumbent against a no name compared to 2020 against a big names like Sanders and Warren. Overall, voter turnout for president on the Democratic side, is down almost 600,000. Voter turn out in 2020 was 1,595,508 compared to just 998,320 in 2024.

I don't read it that way. Because the percentages of people wanting to get rid of Biden would either show as larger numbers for Democratic challenger, or go directly to Trump. Both of which did not happen, in fact Trump also got almost 300.000 less votes than 2020. For a reliable end result of what it means we probably have to wait till after the November election.

"I don't read it that way" I did. Trump got got about 260,000 less votes in 2024 compared to 2020 where Biden got about 330,000 less votes compared to 2020, which is a difference of about 70,000. Plus on tope of this, 600,000 less Democrats voted in the PA primary compared to 2020, where as Republican voter turn out is only down about 200,000 compared to 2020 which is, not just bad news for Biden, but Democrats in general. This is what happens when you don't hold legit primaries and force a candidate no one wants, many voters don't want Trump either hence the Haley votes.

Sorry, but that makes no sense. If the Democrats forced the candidate nobody wanted, the voters would find ways to rebel, vote in masses for the unknown contender or write-in someone else, like Bernie Sanders or Michelle Obama (as stupid as this would be). So, with the numbers Biden got he seems - as incumbent- to be the candidate the people want to support, whereas in 2020 it was an open contest, what platform the DNC should send in the national elections.

Just in Michigan, uncommitted got over 100,000 votes. Some states like Florida, only Biden was on the ballot so voters had no other choice, yes their is write on option, but most states it's either not allowed or the candidate has to be registered for write in. I have many democratic friends who are unhappy with Biden being the Nominee.
