Maybe a little. Democratic policy has been substantially more popular than Republican policy at least since Reagan. The only way republicans ever manage to win is by using their control over the media to deflate enthusiasm for the Democratic party, thus driving down turnout. Its possible Taylor Swift's endorsement may offset some of that.

It shouldn't make any difference. Most people with brains don't make important decisions like this based on what a celebrity might say! Taylor is a very gifted singer and songwriter. This gives her NO special expertise in government or politics, more than any other average person. Think with your head!
