Like a minimum of 8 years executive experience as some combination of State's Governor or a BILLET OFFICER in the Active Duty 4 major branches of the military. The Coast Guard doesn't count.

If you don't like someone because of their character or their education or lack thereof or some other thing then you don't have to vote for them nor does anybody else. That's just the way things work. If you don't like what they do relative to campaigning, I think that can be blamed more on politics than anything else.

Traditionally, for the first 100+ years, the President was at least a former general, former secretary of state, or former state or federal senator. Now we get circus clowns, especially ever since Reagan, who had no presidential qualifications at all.

Actually, you are WRONG. The Founding Fathers originally appointed the President by a Senatorial vote, not a popular vote. Popular Vote is a logical fallacy.

Before allegedly successful business people and television actors ran the country back when it was miiltary experts running the country, they had MINIMUM POSSIBLE budgets and people forget the Reagan and Bush administrations spent 11 trillion dollars in the hole in about a 12 years span, when minimum wage was $3 per hour and a dollar was worth about 5 to 10 times more than today, depending on what you were spending it on. That literally ONE THIRD of the entire US debt was produced under Reagan and Bush Senior combined.

George Washington was actually not the first usa President. There were seven presidents before him under the Articles of Confederation, and none of them involved a popular vote. They too were all appointed by the Continental Congress, as having a popular vote would be completely contrary to what an educated person would do. Thomas Jefferson nor George Washington would support a popular vote at all like we have today, because it involves too many undeducated idiots voting, and because we even let convicted felons vote, which they are not supposed to be allowed to vote once they commit a felony.
