I have 0 credibility, nobody ever believes what I say. What to do?

Well, with zero context, I’m not sure what advice can be offered to you, but I’ll try my best.


Usually, people’s trust is based on past history, whether yours or theirs, or both. I’m not sure if people you know have valid reasons for not trusting your words, but if history is not the issue, then it may be the things you say and/or the way you say them. As much as it can suck, the way in which people communicate information can be one of the many factors in not getting your message across effectively. If you’re going around saying things like “They’re eating the dogs,” then you’ll likely lose credibility.


Again, I have no context for the circumstances to which you are speaking regarding your belief of people not trusting what you say. All I can say is that if you’re talking about promises, then make sure you don’t over-promise. If you believe something is a fact and you want to share it, make sure you play devil’s advocate and at least do a little digging on it before sharing. And if you have an established history of lying and people know it, just know that it’s going to take some time for people to trust you again. You’ll have to be patient with that one, and try hard to be honest from now on.

At school we were asked to describe our summer, i had mentioned i met a girl and so forth which the professor replies you have no credibility as the whole class erupts in laughter. Presumably im too unattractive or perceived as gay to be able to get 1 girl in life. Another is my gma said i look really skinny how much do u weigh i said 150lbs 68 kgs, she says i doubt it

Pretty much no one has credibility on the internet unless you have credibility in real life, first.

Credibility in real life primarily comes from not making it obvious that you are trying to build credibility. And the best way to accomplish that is to not try to build credibility - instead try to have some integrity and the credibility will grow organically.
