I predicted some time back his plane will crash. Another failed Boeing plane.

Can you imagine his mental state. Where does he go now for rest and security? How do you protect him when dragged into court, all over the place. And yet... he hasn't backed down... that's the strength of Trump. His massive egotistical business warped brain keeps him going! Most people would crumble, Ross Perot backed out after a sipmle threat to his daughters wedding.

He's one tough nut, this is why I like him over many others.

At this point... and months prior... my recommendation is he back out of Presidency...and pushes one of the younter options forward... while Trump supports them. It makes total sense. Ya don't need Trump in the white house to get MAGA... e. g. save America... or right policies. And if he is in WH... what ya think it's going to look like for 4 years? He won't survive that nor will much get done.

The smart move, if his ego would allow it, is to get someone else into that seat. Vivek #1. I don't think his VP could win. But pick someone else. It's not about saving his life, it's about winning so that Kamala doesn't sink us financially in an unnecessary war (s) and spending... because she's too controllable by the system.

The left is showing clearly what it has said verbally and done for a long time. They will stop at nothing, they will inflame. They (the far left) are NOT tolerant... they are intollerant. Not everyone is far left, but the party has been drawn that direction... which is why so many left.

From an external perspective it is extremely worrisome. I think most US allies breathed a sigh of relief that Trump survived the first attempt because the US would be scarcely functional if it had succeeded.

The US seems to be losing the concept that it is legitimate for another party to take government and that a peaceful transfer of power should occur. I hope that proves not to be the case as the world needs a strong US.

The lawfare used to suppress democratic processes would seem to indicate that one side of politics is seen as illegitimate by the other side. Again I hope that is not the case as totalitarianism is the consequence.

Your observations are astute.

The US is teetering on the brink of losing 248 years of the greatest experiment in liberty in the history of the human race. Marxists have taken over one party, the Democrats under the name of "Progressives." And the other party (there are only two that have any weight here), the Republicans have spent decades just going along with the Democrats. Some of it is corruption, some of it is "going along to get along." And now we have reached the tipping point where leftist Democrats have infiltrated all of our critical social and government infrastructure... from the schools, to our major government agencies, to the social media and tech companies, news organizations and financial system. The Republicans, the party that was originally founded to put an end to the Democrat's slave ownership in America, were asleep at the wheel.

We will soon find out if God really exists because only he could rescue this country from the grip of this evil Progressive Marxist party.

And you are right. As America goes, whether the rest of the world is blissfully unaware of it or not, so the rest of the world will go.

The Democrats have also presided over an unfettered infiltration of the country by unknown foreigners from all over the world who have been pouring into our country for four years now in massive record numbers. For all we know there could be an entire army of enemies already within our border. I think the Chinese army has about 2 million people. At least 6 times that many people have infiltrated our border unchecked since the Harris-Biden administration took over in 2021.

We know that there are at least tens of thousands of known terrorists, drug cartel and gang members, and other dangerous people among them. And we know that there are many people from terrorist nations in the Middle East, from China and from other adversarial countries.

If President Trump doesn't win, this problem will explode because Harris is far to the left of Biden.

One more important thing you should understand. President Trump is an outsider. He is neither devoted to the Democrats or Republicans. He is not a career politician but a businessman. He isn't interested in going along to get along he is interested in cleaning up the corruption in government. And the corrupt forces have become so entrenched and powerful, even within our own law enforcement and intelligence agencies that they are doing everything in their power to prevent him from being elected because they know that their gravy train will be over.

I have never seen a greater demonstration of bravery than I have seen in President Trump. I cannot imagine any other person who could withstand what has been thrown at him for the late 9 or 10 years. It is extremely inspirational but also extremely scary.

I'd have to agree Trump is brave to a degree that few are. And I do understand that Trump is not a career politician.

I paraphrase Lincoln in this way "You can screw all of the people for a short time, but you can't screw some of the people all the time". The reason being the people being screwed all the time will rebel (hopefully at the ballot box).

That happened in my country. There was a ballot box rebellion against the two majors and a disreputable's party was formed that was sufficiently strong to force the majors to change attitude.

Has screwing some of the people all the time been a factor in the US?

You don't have to convince me on Marxism by the way. The framework of 'oppressed class' vs 'oppressing class' has underlying violence in it.

The Marxists and corrupt government control the media. They broadcast their propaganda 24/7/365 and have convinced half of America, particularly those with no knowledge of history or a bastardized knowledge of it, to vote against their own interests. And we have at least a couple of generations now of young people who received an indoctrination in their schooling instead of an education. The Marxists control the teachers' unions and they are in a corrupt alliance to turn out ignorant automatons for the left.

This is the root of our problem. And it has finally reached the tipping point.

It is insufficient but I can't see what would be sufficient. There are a few angles of attack the Left uses West wide.

One is identity politics. Classic divide and conquer.

Second is to portray transfer of gov't away from the Left as illegitimate even though peaceful transfer of power is the essence of democracy. (A lot of gas lighting in this. "Far Right" European parties just seem to want controlled immigration which is scarcely illegitimate. Open borders are far more extreme).

Third is to control media and political narrative i. e propaganda, Cancel culture. Aforesaid gas lighting.

The Left is particularly good at all this - especially the gas lighting. As the Left is predominantly emotional thought whilst Conservative thought is logical I am not so convinced reason can prevail.

However I do believe there is great commonsense in the common people, I put my trust in that. Perhaps appealing to commonsense is the best. Trump seemed to do that particularly well in New York.

In my country we voted down a Left icon by 60% once people thought using commonsense DESPITE the media and corporations vigorously promoting it and calling us racist we didn't. It can work I think and is maybe the best counter.

What is commonsense about sporting contests where XY chromosomed people punch XX chromosomed people in the face? This should long since been laughed out of the public sphere. Making the Left the butt of humor might help. Trump was good at that in New York too.

The scary thing is we don't know if it's just politics in which case it's an issue of miscommunication, or if it's intentional and political and the Democrats have been lying about wanting the political violence to end.
