We don’t know much as of now, though it was found out he had two backpacks, ceramic tiles setup on a fence with his AK47 peeking out between the fence. Luckily the precautions Secret Service do to ensure protection & safety of the Former President of sending agents ahead to the next hole on the golf course field allowed them to spot and shoot at the failed assassin leading to his choice to flee. They captured the menace and he will pay a price!

I suggest everyone to wait for developments as they come and not buy into divisive, political, and conspiratorial talks from both sides if the aisle. We are Americans and we should all have the notion political violence has no place in America and shall be given no safe harbor, from January 6th riots to attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and many others during their time as president. I condemn this and I firmly believe, if you break the law you must pay a hefty price!

But I'm not sure of the political affiliation or most of those who have commented. But I don't think the claim that "the democrats" have done it for years is accurate. While, the claim could be made about the republicans, including Trump himself. In my POV, no one should be calling for violence against their political opponents. It is as undemocratic as it comes.

Because most people can't afford some of these sniper rifles. So to make it seem that some kook was gunning for Trump, they use cheaper models that most citizens can afford. However, the first one just barely missed him, and if he hadn't turned his head just then this post would be different. It will be interesting to hear the details of the newest one. How did he even get close with a rifle unless it was in a gold cart or bag. But you would think that only Trump and his party would be allowed on the course at the time. A good sniper with a proper weapon could take someone out from a mile away.
