No it wasn’t a set up.

Secret Service told local law enforcement to put police cruiser at the building where the gunman would be on the roof…. There was no cruiser since local law enforcement lacked resources necessary and there was apparently a policeman inside the building.

People pointed out to local law enforcement that there was a man with a gun on the roof though they were warned and at that point it was too late, the gunman fired and all Hell broke loose… It is important to note that local law enforcement officers weren’t on the same voice channels as Secret Service team which also made things difficult.

The point is, it was a local law enforcement error and it could’ve cost the Former President his life.

Even the gunman’s parents called the cops to do something, speculating of his whereabouts nearly 20 minutes before the shooting took place.

It is amazing what affluent people will do to remain affluent. When I first saw the video, I thought Trump set it up himself, then when deaths started to surface I thought, even he would n't go that far. A man with sniper training could nick an ear at 148 yards. Then I thought maybe someone was upset about the Supreme Courts ruling. Equal before the Law, just got flushed down the toilet. If I had been prosecuted and convicted of the same crime and had to serve time would I be mad enough to seek revenge? Frankly working with medical examiners taught me to be suspicious. Nothing is ever what it seems on the surface. So, I don't know at this point. I have never been one to choose sides and start throwing rocks. Seems that politics reduces humanity to less than human activity.

I wouldn't put it past the democrats to have had their hand in this assignation attempt which could have very well been a full blown assignation.

Scaling back on giving him more Secret Service personnel was a bad move. Biden didn't want him to have any secret service agents at all from what I heard.

Now all we can do is pray for Trump that God will protect him, and wait and see what happens next.

You should realize that Trump dying a martyr's death in an assassination would have been extremely bad news for democrats.

Imagine that: an angry movement of idiots who already are prone to political violence and trained to believe in the most ridiculous conspiracy theories see their beloved leader being assassinated right in the middle of an election campaign, just a few days before he would have accepted the presidential nomination.

Right in the aftermath, inevitable conspiracy theories surge everywhere about how the assassination was ordered by Biden or other democrats. Trump isn't even dead or seriously injured and that's what you're all doing right now.

Fact is the Democrats wanted to strip Trump of Secret Service protection and, according to whistleblowers, most of the personnel assigned to the rally in PA were not even Secret Service- they were DHS investigators, and therefore untrained for the task of protecting Trump, as it showed.

I don't see how Joe Biden in particular is hurt by his rival being assassinated right before the convention, which would have created a lot of chaos less than four months before the election. He actually would have benefited, not only from the chaos, but because there is no one who can easily replicate Trump's support. The head of the Secret Service is a Jill Biden crony installed by her, and numerous Democrats were saying in the past couple of weeks that the President would have immunity for ordering his political rivals assassinated. And are you going to claim this young shooter did it on his own? They may not have specifically ordered it, but knowing the constant threat level against Trump due to Democratic Party incitement, putting untrained people on his Secret Service detail would obviously put his life at risk.

As for the hyperbolic claims of political violence had Trump been killed, that's a far-left caricature that is projection (it's what leftists, especially the violent Antifa and BLM arms of the Democratic Party would do)- notice how there hasn't been any.

I find it hard to imagine how it could be a setup. You would need a superlative marks men who could be sure of hitting the ear not the head, who didn't mind killing innocent attendees as collateral damage and who didn't mind being shot dead.

Less than an inch or two. My ear sticks out no more than 0.4 inch. Allow for skull thickness 0.5" the wrong way would be a significant injury at the least. He did belong to a gun club and had a range finder on the day. So I would not think him untrained.
