No, that would be stupid. First of all, she can't. Secondly she does not want to. Believe it or not but Western leaders are fairly hands-off. The whole point of capitalism and such is to let society itself direct its own development with the hope that they are more efficient at it than some king micromanaging everyones lives.

Instead the president and government deals with broader topics. Things like raising and lower taxes or changing laws. It is very rare that something a president does would impact your personal life in any meaningful way. Generally speaking you only notice them when they screw something up.
