No. Part of upholding your nations values is to hold the nation to account. Being a "patriot" would be to support the king during the American revolution, support Hitler in Nazi Germany and supporting Stalin in Soviet Russia.

Blind loyalty and patriotism has no values and just makes you ready tools for the next dictator to climb to the top. What every country needs are critics to keep them true to their values, not patriots to help undermine the very foundations.

That's a good question.

I'll tell you, with the current outlaw rogue regime in place I'd probably let it burn. Maybe I just have an eye for how corrupt it is. She has no chance if they remain in power. This will be a communist sithole soon. But most won't know it as they'll be dead.

a lot of Americans who say what America is doing is "wrong" can't justify what wrong is in the first place.

Since "wrong" is subjective, it has therefore equal value to someone else's idea of wrong that completely the opposite. If america goes out and does something like the mustache man in ww2? Its not "really" wrong. And is not actually worse than if america gave billions to the poor. Its all subjective.
