How would you feel if November was a reverse of 2016, and Trump won the popular vote while Harris won the electoral college vote?

I don't want either one to win. But one of them will, and it will be by the electoral college.

There IS NO popular vote. Adding up all the state votes is NOT the same thing as a popular vote. It's something entirely different. Hillary did not win the popular vote in 2016 because there wasn't one. There has never been a national vote in the US. There is not a person alive who could predict the outcome if there was one.

More and more I am convinced that the states should stop letting people vote for president. Go back to the way it was originally intended.

Popular vote means nothing in federal elections in the United States. That's like asking me if Kamala ate a donut how would I feel. The electoral college is what matters. If Kamala Harris was reported to have won by the fake news and there were 10 days of darkness to count votes I'd feel like we need more rope... You know how many mofos going to hang at GTMO? I would be very surprised, but relieved that Harris won. I would be worried Trump would use it to try to overturn the election again though.

@strateguy632 I think elections should be done with popular vote, yes, but they aren't right now. That's frustrating in cases like 2016, but would be relieving in a situation like this hypothetical. Either way I would still think popular vote would be a more democratic way to run elections because that is actual majority want that candidate, but either way elections are still being run by the electoral college, so that winner wins the election—whether I voted for them or not.

In theory same as trump's win but more people are weak minded therefore swayed by facebook, so 2016 will repeat. More voters dnc but trump win electoral because 2 states cannot decide for the other 48 states.
