I feel neutral about it, but feel like for conservatives it would be an extremely stupid move. He lost to Biden/Harris, if he loses to Harris/Walls, adding on his age and how many "never Trump" voters there are out there, he just wouldn't have a chance even if he ran against Clinton again.

It's highly doubtful that the Republican party would give him another chance unless literally every other candidate died, or had a horrendous scandal just before the election and could not be replaced.

Next would most likely be a Vivek Ramaswamy type.

Now I don’t agree with a lot of people on the left that Trump is a horrible person. I think he’s a very charismatic person who unfortunately chose to embrace a political position that I really don’t like. That being said, I think there really needs to be more free exchange of ideas between the right and the left. That would make perfect sense. If he wins, he's not eligible to run for a third term in 2028 anyway (22nd Amendment), so why not step aside and let some newer Republican candidates vie for the nomination in 2028.
