But they can push all they want and it won't do any good. It would take a constitutional amendment and that's not going to happen.

I have never understood why people are so against the electoral college. I think they just don't understand it and what purpose it serves.

People's vote were never intended to count at all. The states elect the president, not the people. Each state gets to vote in the same proportion as they are represented in Congress.

The states should stop allowing the people to vote in presidential elections. Just get rid of that entirely.

The electoral college is a good system. It beats the hell out of a national mob rule vote. It's more representative. Most importantly, it's about states being largely autonomous.

As for people voting in state polls, that has nothing to do with any kind of compromise. It's entirely up to the states how they decide. That's they way it should be.

The more I watch what's going on, the stronger I believe that the states should stop letting people vote for president. Just stop it.
