Of all ethnic backgrounds, don't you think Latinos have the best stereotypes and quite possibly the most accurate?

I'm not saying we should stereotype all Latinos into one category. I'm simply saying that there are stereotypes that exist, and Latinos have some of the best ones. If you're Latino, please feel free to chime in.

For example, they love their families.

Do all of them? Of course not but is this not a great stereotype to have?

Another example is that they love sex and are good at sex. I can see how this one might set the bar too high or it sexualizes especially the women, but I still feel like this is much much better than saying they're bad lovers. For example, Asian men are mistakenly stereoptyped for having small penises. I'm not saying they're massive like the biggest ones in porn, but they aren't bad. Do you think women created this myth? Doubtful.

Another Latino stereotype is that they love dancing. I'm in NYC and I've met Latinos who don't, but the vast majority does. In fact, I once asked a lady if she liked dancing, and she said, "Of course, I'm a Latina"

Latino's come from a more traditional and very patriarchical (powerful sexist men) culture. This makes them better at romance and caring for women because they see women that way. Their women in general hold the same view and generally will not respect a man who doesn't dominate her.

An trade most women share at some level including post-feminism western women as being powerful for a man is being attractive to a woman making her feel secure and that your a good person to have children with.

Post-feminism is the key here for men thou, as prior to the 2nd wave feminist movements of the 1960s and changes in culture, schooling, and law that followed. Western men were very much like Latino men in theses respects, and western women enjoyed them for the same reasons.

Give Latino's few generations to assimilate feminism and you will find they have all the same undesirable habits as modern western men.

the worst part about "latino stereotypes" and usually the first mistake is that... they're all alike... and the same things apply to all of them, which is not the case... lol

I LOVE how you said they love their family! It's true. I have dated two Latinos and they were very close and devoted to their family. Even their cousins were like brothers and sisters. I will always admire that about them.

I'm sorry, I didn't fully read the question. I stick by that most have a special love for family but no, I never noticed a love of "dancing". The men, anyway! lol Another stereotype, is they dress "flashy". I wouldn't say that, they just dress nice.

There are some good stereotypes but we also have some of the worst stereotypes such as high crime rates in the countries of origin, or that annoying "crazy latina" trope.

It's an interesting question, especially considering the broad diversity among Latinos.
