Is having a bumper sticker threatening to brake check someone a bad idea?

I think so. Number one I think it just encourages people to mess with you just to see. Also….. if they’re in a crash someone’s going to take a photo of their sticker (even if they didn’t brake check them) to claim that they got brake checked.

Also, many times brake checking someone brake checks all the cars behind someone as well. Who never did anything to you and a good way to piss everyone off.

You do have valid points in regard to brake check warning bumper stickers possibility eliciting tailgating behavior.

Actual, habitual tailgaters go further than advertising their intentions, though.
They carry them out regardless of what the bumper sticker in front of them may state.

I don't know. But I did think it would be a little funny to put a bunch of stickers on and then get one final sticker that says "this is too many stickers to peel, p off. Please drive closer to signal you have insurance that can just buy me a new bumper."

That’s a funny one. I was gonna put one on my hood that says “I have a dash cam dont brake check” or “if you can read this get out of the left lane” lol

If you genuinely take bumper stickers seriously, you may want to go get checked to see if you’re on the autism spectrum. That’s a very literal interpretation.
