JD Vance did better than expected though with lies, dancing around the question, and attacking the moderators for not allowing him to lie some more.

Tim Walz did as good as he could get versus Vance since Vance isn’t as dumb, old, or tired / narrow minded as Trump. He pushed the moderators too, dodged questions though moderately, and straighten things out about his Tiananmen Square visit.

I say it was a tie. Both got the job done for serving as their Presidential Candidates pack mules carrying their weight wherever they go. Tim Walz is definitely better in a Rally Setting while JD Vance shined in a Debate Stage Setting. This is how VP Debates normally are, not who wins / loses the debate though making their leader look good even if it means shoving your head up their ass as far as it can go. The only VP Debate I can remember a clear winner was Kamala Harris V. Mike Pence this one is more like Biden V. Paul Ryan in 2012, no winner just scoring political points to make their leader look good. Both succeeded, dare I say JD Vance made Trump look more likable than Trump could ever do for himself lmao.

Just a reminder: Trump is still a convicted felon, insurrectionist, and a breaker of his oath. What Vance said doesn’t match or subvert what Trump has put into action time n time again. Kamala Harris & Tim Walz are the ones for the people, Donald Trump & JD Vance aren’t.

It was refreshing watching a debate that was somewhat civil compared to the Biden/Trump and Harris/Trump debates. That said, going to be brutally honest and admit JD Vance won. Vance did surprisingly better then I thought, and Walz did worse then I thought he would. I don't care if other Democrats agree or not, but it was a mistake choosing Tim Walz to be Harris's running mate, and tonight's debate showed he was a terrible pick. Reminds me of 2016 when Hillary picked Tim Kane, who gave of a sleezy used car salesman vibe.

Seems like Vance lost refusing to admit Trump lost in 2020, but in reality it had little to no effect among independents who want to move on from the past and focus on the future. From what I've been hearing from independents, who are going to decide this election, Vance handily won. Vance gave off a mature, confident vibe while Walz, gave off a nervous, I just want to leave vibe. Walz, just like Kaine, was choosen to boost support in rust belt states, which will have the opposite effect just like 2016.

They both did pretty well but JD Vance stayed away from personal attacks and focused on policy. He was gracious and helped facilitate a healthier atmosphere. He also didn't let the moderators push him around which was quite refreshing.
