"Fact check" often just means the liberal media is calling the truth a lie, just like David Muir did repeatedly. During debates, it is the democrat + the media moderators against the conservative. They constantly lie about conservatives, yet they intentionally ignore the actual lies told by the democrat candidates.
It is just like the "mis-information" warnings that Facebook posts that they later had to admit that all the "fact checking" was lies and just opinions by people they had paid to do it biasedly to support liberal views/lies. Zuckerberg had to testify under oath to Congress and that is why it was admitted that it was all bs lies by the liberals because he didn't want to go to prison for lying under oath.
First of all because it's a direct violation of the rules they expressly agreed to, and second because it's not honest fact-checking, it's the news media interjecting their leftist opinions into the debate as fact, then not allowing the candidate to refute those opinions.
Just what Vance was saying about Kamala censoring speech and not allowing discussion or debate of issues. You're not allowed to discuss issues related to "global warming," Covid, illegal immigration, or the 2020 election. Gore once said, "the time for discussion of global warming is over," when no one was ever allowed to discuss it in the first place.
Many people have already discussed enough the case of climate change. The only people still debating over this are people refusing to acknowledge they are not qualified to talk about it.
I don't see any sound reason for any society to need opinions of unqualified people on an already close case by enough people qualified to talk about it
@Maybe_Maybe_not we were watching the candidates for the candidates, we don't give a fuck what the moderators think dude.
@Juxtapose it’s not about the moderators. It’s about the LIES
@Juxtapose not a hoax. I've asked you to explain who Trump was referring. One side was protesting the ones shouting "jews will not replace us". What was the other fine people?
"and said he was specifically referring to those who were there only to participate in the statue protest."

@Juxtapose I love how you refer to fact checkers only when it suits you.
But as your link says “calling the Unite the Right protesters ‘very fine people’ is still highly troublesome”
What's the point of letting politicians speak if all they're going to do is make stuff up? It's not like they're being put on the spot and making innocent slipups. They've had ample time to prepare, they know whats going to come up. Therefore they are deliberately lying and are unfit to hold power.
As amusing as Vance's feeble crying about being fact checked was, let's not dwell on that. Trump won't do the 60 minuted interview because of live fact checking. That kind of cowardice in the face of truth is the concerning behavior.

Because their "fact-checks" are partisan nonsense. The last moderators caught hell for it, so the new moderators said they wouldn't. Then they decided to do so anyway to mitigate the beating Walz was undergoing. Vance gave them a thwacking too.
It's against the rules and he saw the 3v1 Trump went through and made sure that did not happen to him. I'm glad he stood his ground and performed admirably. I watched the entire thing live.
In these one sided debates the Republicans get fact checked and the democrats do not.
@msc545 okay, I think that the 8 dead babies killed in 2023 has been scrubbed from the internet but this explains the culpability that "Tampon Tim? has in the murder of babies born alive during botched abortions.

Mmm... congress already passed bypartisan "what is a person"
Born alive law in 2002: "It defined a “person” (or “human being,” “child” and “individual”) for the purposes of any act of Congress or any agency ruling/regulation as “every infant member of the species homo sapiens who is born alive at any stage of development.“
And stats on born alive abortions- bullshit

Because when you keep lying fact-checking will expose you as a liar.
I wish it had this effect, but in practice it doesn't have this effect because lies or not, the show is going on lol
So I must conclude that fiction is an all mighty force
@Maybe_Maybe_not Wrong conclusion. reality always wins sooner or later.
In a bigger picture and throughout all history? lol
@Maybe_Maybe_not I think so
@Juxtapose Ministry of Truth arguably is better than lies.
@Juxtapose Of course I am.
@Maybe_Maybe_not we can hope...
In that case, count me in !
I do have hopes and that is a fact :D
Because most "fact-checkers" are liars. Much like yourself.
No. It means you don’t play into propaganda.
Hahahaha. Guess what dummy. No one believes that.
care? like healthcare?
